I have always enjoyed this "version" of Pink Floyd, without Roger Waters. While he was a founding member and had much to add, he also sort of always seemed to be an angry/dark influence as well. This "version" is all about the pure beauty & essence of the band. I may be a small voice & opinion, but it's just me & how I feel. I have their live Pulse DVD. Now that is absolute perfection. Just an amazing bouquet for the senses. I hope you're well, Jamel...I've loved your views & content for a couple years now ✌

Thank you I have been listening to this song 35 years since it came out. It was this reaction that hit home. I had not tried to understand the song, just enjoy it. With just a few words from you about this, it means so much more. In the past five years or so, I have become more isolated, more left out, more alone and ignored. Having a rare neurological disorder that now has me in a wheelchair, I don't leave the house much, and when I go somewhere, I feel alone in a crowd. I have to find a way to be accepted and included when I show up somewhere by myself, other than people holding doors open for me. I'm going to dig into the lyrics and watch this again.
