I agree totally. For me David Fowler unlike other brilliant guitarists who have performed this iconic solo, is able to stir the emotions the way Gilmour did/does. He is truly right up there alongside the great man in my humble opinion.

Having seen Pink Floyd at the Château de Chantilly in France in 1994 (it was a while ago), I know that I will never relive that moment. But I will go see the Australian Pink Floyd Show in March in France, because I actually think that it is the closest thing to a tribute band to the legend in terms of sensations, with great pleasure I think.

I saw them in Oxford last month and they really were superb. I also had the luck to see the real Floyd during there record run at Earl’s Court in ‘94. A gig I shall always treasure until my dying day and I have to say TAPF got pretty damn close to perfection. Hugely impressive.
