Ok a couple of no-nos. Don't skip the intro. Floyd are known for dramatic sometime extended intros. It's not all about the singing with these guys, it's also about the music and the vibe it sets. They're all brilliant innovative musicians, the instrumentation/ musicianship that's all them... it has to be part of the reaction. It is music raised to art. No-no #2. You should refrain from interrupting a Gilmour guitar solo. David Gilmour is considered one of the top 10 or 15 guitarist of all time. Floyd fans consider it almost sacrilegious to interrupt one of his solos. And you're so right, his guitar speaks words and emotion where lyrics fall short. A little trivia... Pink Floyd get their name from two old-time southern black blues men from the 20s and 30s, Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. This will give you some idea of the influences you music hear in their music. Everything from blues to jazz to rock to shades of gospel occasionally. They are a sound all their own. It is why they are among the biggest selling bands of all time, and why their music has stood the test of time for all these years. The album this song is from is a concept album "Dark Side of the Moon." Meant to be listened to all in one sitting. All songs flow seamlessly into one another. Might as well check out the next song from it... "Great Gig In The Sky" and prepare to have your mind blown.

I’ve also never even heard of Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. I’ll need to look them up. One thing for sure i did learn, was to never interrupt a David Gilmour solo lol #respect

​@@dxmntyler1220 T, most of us had never heard of P. Anderson or F. Council or so many other great blues guys. Ironically while we were ignoring our rich musical history here, a generation of young white English guys over 4,000 miles away on the other side of the ocean, was studying it intently. A lot of them learned to play guitar just listening to their old records. They repackaged it, electrified it, added some hard core drums and vocals, and spoon fed it back to us in the form of Rock. Check out Led Zeppelin, another one of the all time greats and founders of what we today call Rock. Their first album (1969) was almost straight up hard core electrified Blues. America and the rest of the western world ate it up. Most had no idea they were just feeding Delta and Chicago Blues back to us. Well, they do now. LOL!! Check out "I Can't Quit You Baby" by Zeppelin when you get the chance.

The album is about the stress or pressures of life. Time presents limitations on our abilities to act. You can't delay time or speed it up but you can certainly fret over it. Your sin is skipping over the intro and failing to appreciate it as part of the song. It follows the instrumental on the album called On The Run. It is about the fear of flying. It features the sound of running footsteps hurrying through an airport even though you may be killed in a crash. Time starts with the wakeup of the clocks so sit back, relax, and pay attention. Skipping the intro is falling into the trap of wasting Time, literally.

Enjoyed Ty, don't let these commenters scare you. You are entertaining and a good watch. It should be noted that Pink Floyd is more of a mood than most music. Sound is so much better, but as people have already said never skip any part of pink floyd. If you skip to singing ( if any) in some floyd songs you will miss epic intros, the build up to the lyrics can be 7 or 8 minutes in some tracks. I get you did listen to the intro but viewers want to hear it too. Nice reaction though to some of the best lyrics ever.

If you really want to take a trip then pair their Dark Side Of The Moon album with The Wizard Of Oz. The bandmates have always denied the correlation between the album and the movie. But it's crazy how the movie lines pair up with the lyrics. Personally, I don't think it was done intentionally. I think Pink Floyd was just that freaking awesome. If you decide to try this experiment, here's a link that explains how to do it as well as providing some examples of where the lyrics and the lines sync up.
