Let me be clear about a few things in regards to this video, just to lessen some confusion (and the amount of dislikes): - This comic was made WELL before Season 5 first began, so of *course* the designs for Pink Diamond and Pink Pearl are totally different - This comic was also made before we knew about what happened to Pink Pearl on Homeworld - I suppose it's safe to say that this comic could also be an AU of Steven Universe, which is why everything here is different compared to the actual cartoon - Did you not read the title and how it says this is an **alternate** story about Pink Pearl? (Not to sound like a smart alec, but reading makes life a little easier!) - I'm sorry, but this is the only episode, per se, that I'll make of this comic, as there are no more parts after this. :'(

Kinda the whole point of Rose was to tear down the "dead parent" stereotype and show why you shouldn't glorify the dead, though. Rose wasn't a good person a lot of the time. That's the point of her character. She's dead, but that doesn't mean Steven has to treat her like she was perfect. In reality, she kinda sucked. Neither she nor Pink is SUPPOSED to be a likable character. Pink's major flaw, at the end of the day, was that no matter how hard she tried she was still a Diamond. She carried that on to Rose, and that's why Rose was so obsessed with the idea of becoming something else. She was ultimately unable to overcome her flaws, so she relied on Steven to be better than her.

ahhhh this is so cute!!! I LOVE THISSSSSSS. Yes, I made this comic LONGGGG before anything was revealed in the show. I just thought Lion had a LOT of mannerisms similar to our pearl. For a long time, I questioned if Lion was just a corrupted gem of sorts. Or a shapeshifter. (Considering how often Lion disappeared, I thought for sure it was suspicious, since a gem can't hold a form like that for long....) but as the show went on, it was clearer and clearer this was no longer the case, so pInk's designs changed midway, and my ideas changed midway....though I really should have just stuck with the original idea to the very end. All well. I'm still glad some people appreciate it at least!
