Well, the difference is Poof means their physical form, being made of light, gets temporarily disrupted, leaving only the gem. The form can be regenerated after varying amounts of time Bubbled is for that single gem to be held in a stasis that prevents form regeneration for the entirety of being bubbled Shattering is when the gem is broken into fragments, which cannot be regenerated. This would be akin to death, but we ofc now find that the powers of all four diamonds alone can undo this, but nothing else

The gem equivalent to death is shattering because unless the diamonds combine all of their power together to reform the gemstone or The gem is forced it together in a fusion experiment the gem will never be able to regenerate again and is basically dead. Bubbling and pooing is not like death as the gym can still reform when it is proved and bubbling prevents reform ation but the grm is still intact so the gem can still reform if it is taken out of the bubble.

I ship Blue and Yellow, but not in a... romantic sense, more like a platonic one. There was one scene in "Change your mind", when they fought, but Steven made Yellow realize how much she actually cares about Blue and doesn't want her to get hurt. Then Yellow kneeled next to Blue and hugged her. At that moment I really expected them to form Green Diamond. I'm fascinated by the idea this character may exist. I think she is much wiser, kinder and morally stronger than two of them. Even though they often clash with each other, they *do* care about one another, and this bond - the bond that formed Green - would help them understand. Would make them be wiser, kinder and stronger too. But, as SU franchise teaches us, such bonds - platonic or otherwise - must always be voluntary. Even very different gems, like Pearl and Amethyst, can be together and form Opal, so differences are not fatal. What *is* fatal is unwillingness of two parties to be involved in relationship/fusion. It was proven by Malachite. Green Diamond would be the result of Yellow and Blue reconciling willingly, which couldn't be possible in pre-Crystal Gems universe. In it, only this abomination - I'll call it Yellowblue - could exist. And it's scary. Malachite was scary as a metaphore for abusive relationship where one or both parties force each other to stay. Yellowblue is scary as the allusion to forced marriages, where both parties don't want or downright hate each other, but some higher force is pressing them to be stuck together. I love this comic and voice dub very much.
