this story wouldn’t be true though, because pearl was given to pink diamond thousands of years before pink diamond was given the earth, so in the context of time this doesn’t make sense, also once a gem is controlled by white diamond they only think white diamonds thoughts, they essentially are white diamond in a different form.. And I know it’s fan made so it wouldn’t be true, but if it was supposed to portray and actual theory/story that would be in the show it wouldn’t be correct.

Just go to show, how pink changed everything. Shows that Pearls are nothing more than a homeworld servant, Also I think white realized that Pink Pearl was childish but she has strong emotions for pink which would make pink change her mind about homeworld, So to fix that white gave up her Pearl to pink to not change her mind, WE SEE HOW THAT ENDED. Pink was already upset and wanted more so she left the Diamond authority. I was thinking before Pearl left with pink she promised Pink pearl that she would come back for her, that promise was kept. What's the most sad about this is that this is just a big misunderstanding! It's not like Rose asked for a new pearl to replace her old one, and knowing Rose, I'm positive she NEVER felt that Pearl replaced Pink Pearl. Sure, Pearl became someone Rose truly treasured and their relationship grew to something even more, but that doesn't mean she ever took Pink Pearl's place in Rose's heart, I'm sureRose is still devastated by the loss of her first Pearl and still loves her very much.
