Very good question! In the wild they typically lead a more solitary lifestyle, however, I know of some (respected and knowledgeable) keepers that have done it successfully and others where it has ultimately ended with a less than positive outcome. I would say, like with most things, it's about evaluating your skill level, i.e. can you notice stress behaviours early enough, can you see subtle dominance behaviours such as resource guarding (over food/hides/basking areas etc) In my personal opinion, I would always look back at the animals natural history, do they cohab in the wild, do they often fight in the wild etc. and then come up with my answer from that. I know this is a very long winded explanation for an answer that is ultimately " it's up to you" but I thought I'd give some context and personal thought haha. But thank you for your comment! :D
