Ok, i'm not a expert. How should brakerotors be mounted? I'm pretty sure that the front rotor on the commencal is wrongly mounted. Or does it matter?
@hannes61142 жыл бұрын
Is mounted wrong I think but it probably doesn't matter
@Baureo2 жыл бұрын
AFAIK the "spokes" of the rotors are facing the wrong direction. They should point in the direction of rotation. This matter because that way the rotors spokes keep the ring between the pads. If you keep the outer ring from rotating and turn the hub forward, the spokes will try to spread the ring away from the hub and thereby stabilise it - especially when it is hot from braking. The way they are mounted, the spokes would tend to pull the ring towards the hub, which will lead to deformation of the ring.
