Christine I think I haven't told you this before, but you were the one that led me to minimalism. Your videos decluttering make up really hit me, I was so shocked that from that day I couldn't think of accumulate things. It's been almost 3 years since I saw those videos.

I let go of all of the clothes I had stored in totes in my garage. I had a lot of suits, skirts, blazers. Professional clothing that I no longer require for the job I have now. I gave the clothes to our local women’s shelter along with a bunch of new makeup I never opened, nail polish, costume jewelry, scarves and purses. A lot of times these women have to leave their homes with nothing but the clothes they’re wearing. So that felt awesome. Now on to my cookbook collection.

I donated so much about 3 weeks ago, it took the nice man 15 minutes to load up the donation truck.. Kind of worried now, because I received emails from all the places I donate to have suspended accepting donations due to Corona virus.. I love giving away nice things and the rewarding feeling of letting go of stuff.. clearing up my house..

I’m amazed at how you guys (especially you, Christine) are able to get rid of items that would be super sentimental for some ppl. Your plants in the last vid, for example... I don’t have any plants, since as a minimalist, I don’t want to get too attached. I once had to get rid of some huge ones in order to move, and it felt a little like I was rehoming beloved pets! You guys are awesome! Super inspiring!

Julie Quick so true. My area goes into quarantine tonight. So the items I want to donate I’m just putting them in a bag. They say we are allowed to go out. So I think I can still donate I’ll just have to leave in a drop box.

Your videos have changed my life and my house. Not perfect but more organized and less cluttered. Still a work in progress. This challenge I’m doing to. But doing it differently. I added up the total items for the month. I’m trying to reach goal that way. Hard for me to do day by day. Due to my work schedule. This week was more clothing. Boxes. Two screen doors.

@@Joanne1974KiwiGirl I think the issue is that we felt like we were with them on their Hawaii outings (which they seemed to do often), so we miss feeling like we're all hanging out in Hawaii. I enjoy the AZ vlogs too though, but yeah, Hawaii was pretty. The problem with HI though is that it's too expensive, and it's too hard to travel to other places. They can hop in their car and do road trips now. I like their day trips when they take us along. :)
