Thanks. There has been a problem where the insert doesn't go all the way to the top of the visor, meaning late in the day when riding towards the sun, you get the sun straight in your eyes. Tilting your head at a different angle helps but isn't always practicable. What I did was pick up some UV stable vinyl film and cut a sun strip that covers the top part of the visor not covered by the insert. Other than that it's been great. But I will remind you it's been winter.

If you put it behind a shield that block UV rays, then wouldn't that prevent the pinlock from getting darker? Do you have a video of the pinlock installed on a lens, that's installed on a helmet? I'm curious to see if it would get dark.
