Matt Walsh said something the other day that really resonated with me. The mistake we make is we want to try and explain our position, why we say no. Why? We don’t need to give them a reason. It’s a no, plain and simple. I did that at work. They wanted me to march in a local pride parade, and I said no. They wanted a reason, I didn’t give them one. I don’t have to. I’m not obligated. As a Catholic who also happens to be an openly bisexual man, I am more in love with my Catholic Faith rather than my bisexuality. I love my fellow LGBT brothers and sisters and pray for them always, but I will not put my soul in jeopardy and risk eternal hell fire because I can't control my sexual urges. Bisexuality whereby somebody is attracted to same-sex as well as opposite sex certainly exists. My young son and I live only a few blocks from the park in our city which hosts most of the "pride" events... And it's going to take away my son's preferred play space. He is autistic so changing spaces nd routine is extremely uprooting for him... But, I will not have him exposed to the things which I know from experience are Not family friendly, and especially not safe for children though far too many take their kids there... Thank God, we live in a city with an immense network of parks and play and green spaces. I have decided we will be spending this entire month exploring all the other parks and hiking trails etc available. To avoid the event. It's hard to find places to shop that align with our values, but I can at least chose products or creators who do... 20 something years ago, I fell in the trap of supporting it. It has been put in the schools already... Thank God, I shifted back to God. And while I fall short of Grace daily in some way... I will never stop seeking to be better, and walk with God... Wish more could see this as a road for the soul... To be with and of God.

Most Catholic schools in Ontario are not private, they are public. There are some privately funded Catholic schools. But I support public education as it should should be available to all regardless of income; there should not be a two tier system. My non practicing family put me into a publicly funded Catholic school and without it I would have never learned about my faith or had the opportunity to attend Mass. So I am grateful for it.

I've strongly felt the societal pressure to accept sin. My company was bought by a foreign company. I work for a pretty big company in Portugal. As a result, they implemented new colors, and new ways of thinking, including LGBT+ pride. 😢 It made me feel very sad, I thought we were going to change for the better and now my company's entrance is displayed with the LGBT+ flag everywhere. I'm seriously thinking about quitting my job... But I'm afraid I'm exaggerating! It's a good job and people are really really good people, it's hard for me to be in a company that promotes sin... 😢😢😢 in the other hand it´s my dream job.. dont know what to do... i will pray 🙏🙏

I'm going to talk to my spiritual director, and "pray, pray a lot", as our lady said here in Fatima. Jesus worked exclusively with sinners and went to very sinful places. We are called to do the same, but I definitelyunderstand your dilemma. My company also really goes over board for pride month. We even added gender labels and now must take organ inventories for people who claim to be Trans, etc, but I digress. Double down on rosaries or make it a point to mention Jesus or the Sacred Heart of Jesus in casual conversations. Everytime I say "God" at work I consider it a small victory. A little, tiny light I can bring to the darkness. No need to quit your job, just bring some light into it :) you can do it with God's grace!

Hey Matt, if you are interested in having a non-catholic Christian on the show. Jojo Ruba (I think he is baptist) is a Canadian man who experiences same sex attraction. He has a Christian apologetics ministry (Faith Beyond Belief) and has engaged this issue publicly, especially the latest ban on conversion therapy (to include counselling that Jojo found helpful) in Canada. An interesting point Jojo brings up is that same sex attraction has more to do with self-image than with the attraction itself. That is because we are always attracted to difference, not sameness per se. Even within same sex relationships there is a type of desired complementarity. That is why one partner is more masculine and the other more feminine etc. And so it has more to do with one's self image as a man or a woman. Anyways, I'm sure there is more to it than that, but you might find Jojo's perspective helpful or interesting to say the least.
