"It has everything..." Except 4K. Buying any disc player this expensive is a mug's game, in my opinion. I spent years buying one player after another: laserdisc, DVD, Blu-ray... It never ends.

Everybody is talking about 4k. It will be a couple of years b4 movies/games use this format. Kinda pointless to get it now when you probably can find a great deal later when things start to catch up

whats the point of a hands on with out even using it, this is more of an unboxing.... :( I would love to see what it looks like hook up to my pioneer PRO-101FD ;) best thing I've ever bought. If you do test it, it better be on one of pioneer elite series plasma's.

Sadly it won't play 4K content as for all 4K material will be HDCP 2.2 protected and this blu-ray player doesn't support that. No firmware update will fix it. For $2000 its a waste.

This is ridiculous. No 4K, and what's up with 10/100 Mbps ethernet? For this price they couldn't afford gigabit? It sounds like Pioneer decided to make a player for the gullible to me.

Have 4K and 4K/24Hz and it play 4K blu rays in 24Hz here in the Netherlands.

This thing is 5 years too late... 4K Bluray is coming out this year. Who will buy this outdated technology ?
