I've started a firmware update but it's saying "PANEL firmware update failed". Any ideas?

Perhaps you must insert the Link Cable or the connector in your CDJ is loose

For those of you coming here from the link HOW TO UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE for the CDJ 2000 NEXUS.... as you can see, pulse did not put up the correct video. NEXUS owners FW is 1.10 not 3.0 (or whatever it's up to now). The process is the same, you'll just be seeing different numbers for the firmware.

Hi Guys, am having trouble with updating the Firmware, I have CDJ2000 but whenever I reach the step of " connect USB storage into top USB port" , I do so but nothing changes on the screen the same word stays for connect USB... What could be the problem?

my CDJ 900 does not turn on while im holding USB and Reloop/exit buttons. Why is that? please help

i pressed by error the usb buttn with the 4 loop button it workd too !

Hello Pulse, I updated my Cdj2000 to the latest firmware 4.20, but unfortunately, the link is no more working, but before the update it works perfectly, I have tried to connect both CDJ's directly to my Laptop, but still not working. In the Utility I see that the Link Status - Not Connected. Please help or advice on what to do.

Hello: My USB is on FAT 32 I downloaded filed got to the screen to plug in the usb on my cdj and then it just says connect usb storage device into port and nothing happens. Any tips on what I may be doing wrong? Thanks Vin

Are you sure you unzipped the update file and placed it in the root of the USB drive?

i have a big issue please help , i bought a wd portable hard drive 1 TB and when i plug it into my cdj 2000 nexus it shows E-8307 USB Access Error. I already formatted it to MDOS(FAT) im going crazy

Manny Tulletti sounds like it can’t find the root like he mentioned in the video. Try a smaller storage capacity unit.
