I want to know if the pioneer also made a DEH-S4250BT?
@pioneerelectronics Жыл бұрын
Yes. The Pioneer DEH-S4250BT is an in-dash CD player. It's generally sold in the middle eastern region. You can see it here: pioneer-mea.com/en/products/deh-s4250bt/ You can find more videos on Pioneer's KZbin Channel here: www.youtube.com/@pioneerelectronics

I purchased a Pioneer DEH-S6220BS DEH-S6200BS on 13 December 2020 and most of the FM radio channels are all static, except spanish channels and all AM stations are all static. I have another appointment with Best Buy for them to take a look at the installation that they did. I'm thinking the radio is a lemon. Any comments would be appreciated
@deckerdotto60354 жыл бұрын
If you can normally expect other radios to give good reception in your area, I would certainly expect the Pioneer DEH-S6220BS to provide very good radio reception in that same area. All Pioneer in-dash receivers require a good connection to the vehicle's AM/FM antenna for proper radio reception. Without a good vehicle antenna connection, you will get little or no radio reception at all. When you say you receiver some radio stations, but not all expected stations, my first impression is this is an issue with the vehicle's antenna, or the way the vehicle's antenna has been adapted to work with the Pioneer receiver. It may simply be an antenna connection that came loose during the process of installation. In this case, I believe contacting the installer and asking for a follow up is a good idea, and may very well correct the issue. Please take a look at this Pioneer video with detailed demonstrations about using a Pioneer AM/FM tuner: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHnWhYeCo6mXhdE As a test, I recommend to try the "BSM" function shown in the video. This will automatically find the 6 strongest radio stations the in-dash receiver is able to pull in at it's current location. And you may want to switch the "Local" setting to Off. Both the BSM function and the Local setting are explained in the video. Is there a SVX300 adapter available if your car has an older Sirius XM attenna already installed?
@deckerdotto60354 жыл бұрын
Sirius and XM antennas and receivers have seen many changes over the past 20 or so years that they have been available. In 2020 the SXV300 tuner is available from many retailers in the US. The tuner is packaged with a new antenna designed to operate with the new SXV300 tuner. You can see one possibility here: www.abt.com/product/94240/SiriusXM-Satellite-Radio-Connect-Vehicle-Tuner-Kit-SXV300V1.html I'm not aware of adapters for older antenna/receivers. I recommend to use the antenna that comes in the box with the new tuner. If you are purchasing a replacement SXV300 tuner that uses the identical antenna and antenna connection, I'm sure you could use the existing antenna, if it's still operating properly. If you are looking to buy just a tuner and no antenna, I recommend an on line service like ebay or something similar. Why does it say on the pioneer website for this particular headunit that it's a 2v rca output?

For the RCA outputs, I don’t know how to connect mine! I have white, grey, green and purple colored ones!!!
@pioneerelectronics2 жыл бұрын
Pioneer in-dash receivers have Red and White RCA output jacks designed to operate with external amplifiers. One pair of Red and White jacks for the Front channel output, a second pair of Red and White for the Rear Channel output and, depending upon your in-dash receiver, maybe a 3rd pair of Red and Whit for the dedicated subwoofer output. RCA outputs are show here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mn7WfWBrqtyindk If you're not using an external amplifier, you don't need to use the RCA outputs. The White, Gray, Green, and Purple are the Speaker level outputs. These wires are designed to be directly connected to speakers in the vehicle. Hi, Do you think it's better than pioneer 8800bhs, or which one is better?
@pioneerelectronics2 жыл бұрын
These two CD receivers are both great and very different from one another. It depends on what you think is more important for your vehicle. DEH-X8800BHS has built in HD Radio, two USB ports, Auto EQ for system setup and it includes the Auto EQ mic. It does not support Pioneer Smart Sync. DEH-S6220BS does not have HD Radio. It has one USB port, and does not support Auto EQ. This receiver supports Pioneer Smart Sync. If you don't own any CD's there is no point in getting a CD player. If you don't play CD's please consider the Pioneer MVH-S720BHS seen here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHPGnGh4m6ihjqc 720 has built-in HD radio and supports Pioneer Smart Sync. Wonder when the output starts clipping
@deckerdotto60354 жыл бұрын
The volume control on the Pioneer DEH-S6220BS has 0 to 62 segments. When all of the audio settings are at 0 or lower you can turn the volume up to or near it's max before the RCA outputs will clip. Source materials will cause this to vary. If you want more volume I recommend an external amplifier like the Pioneer GM-D9705 seen here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2qrl6CZbbarjMU You can find more How To videos about Pioneer DEH-S6220BS here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mGannqiJgshjaqc and you can find more videos on Pioneer's KZbin Channel here: kzbin.info

Pioneer in-dash receivers output Bluetooth Phone Call audio to the FRONT speaker outputs and FRONT RCA outputs only. Bluetooth Audio, or music played from your phone, will play through all outputs, both front and rear. Your in-dash receiver may be installed incorrectly. There is an easy way to test it. Using the Fader control, fade the audio output all the way to the front. You can see how to use the fader control in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/npqngHambJqId6s Can you hear music? Can you hear phone calls. If you fade the system all the way to the front and can not hear music, that means the FRONT audio outputs are not connected in your system. The Pioneer DEH-S6220BS has three sets of RCA outputs for operating external amplifiers. They are four volt output RCAs. Just like it says in the video above. Here is the Owner's Manual for the DEH-S6220BS. Please check for yourself: www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/CD-Receivers/DEH-S6220BS#manuals The RCAs can be set up as Front, Rear, and Subwoofer output or, for a better sound quality system as High, Mid, and Low output. You can find more videos about the DEH-S6220BS here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWjKfWCpqt2bf9k Although the receiver featured in the video is not the Pioneer DEH-S6220BS it's operation shown in the video is identical. This is noted in the first minute or so of the video. Please watch it. You can find more videos on Pioneer's KZbin Channel here: kzbin.info

Greetings, Pioneer! I had one of these installed on my Pathfinder today, and for some reason, it’s not reading the rear speakers, only the front ones, and both sets of speakers are brand new. You think the gentleman that installed the stereo connected it wrong? I’m planning on going back next week so he can check it out. Any advice? Anything I should have him check?
@deckerdotto60354 жыл бұрын
You did not mention anything about an external amplifier, so I'll presume you are using the in-dash receiver's internal amplifier to power the front and rear speakers. I recommend to press the microprocessor reset button. You'll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button. You can find the microprocessor reset button on the Pioneer DEH-S6220BS behind the detachable face. You can see it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWfMkqqGZ5xsiJY Please be sure to check the Fader control on the in-dash receiver. The fader control moves the sound from the front to the rear. You can see it on a similar Pioneer receiver here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/npqngHambJqId6s I recommend to set the fader control to Center. If this does not correct the issue I recommend to do a System Reset. You can find System Reset in the Initial Menu seen here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGfKYXiFhb9_ZsU It's possible the receiver was installed incorrectly and the rear speakers were not hooked up. You can learn more about wiring a Pioneer receiver and the front and rear speaker wires in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYOVfoJooNx5q8k You can find more videos on Pioneer's KZbin Channel here: kzbin.info
