Man I hate their filter implementation on that V10. Dry/Wet instead of frequency-based and all the channels share a common setting? Wow. Big miss, in my book. I'm also curious how they messed up the sample rate conversion on it compared to the NXS2's I never heard anyone really complain about... I mean, other than there being SRC all the time on all their digital mixers with the older CDJs. Oh well, at least with the CDJ-3000s it's not an issue since the new CDJs are doing SRC to the mixer's 96khz work rate for you first. There is some kind of happy medium I believe possible between the DJM-900NXS2 and the V10 ideas, but for me it's a swing and a miss on this new mixer. I'm lately leaning towards maybe getting a Model One, but sorta sick of analog mixers at the moment and also don't really want anymore fader mixers. BTW, did you get lucky with properly-functioning jogs on your players? Quite a few people apparently are getting defective ones. Some people are getting two perfectly-working ones while others are getting units with wildly goofy jog bend sensitivity. It looks like there's also a bug on bending or scratching or something when in pause mode, but that will soon be fixed in firmware. Looks like a repair program might be in order for some units for the other problem, though.

Hi, why did you forgo the Denon X 1850 & SC 6000 kit?Can you tell me how you see the pros and cons?- when it comes to Denon set?I am also thinking of changing the Prime 4 in the future and I like the Pioneer DJM V 10 very much and it would suit me also in cooperation with the DAW.

If you haven't had a chance to play on one, I will say this: 1. The sound is incredible clear. Clearest sounding mixer I've heard in 20 years. Clearer than a Rane, Allen & Heath, and so forth 2. People just don't realize what you can do this with this mixer.

@@gelatinous6915 Why do you think A&H sound "better"? Is it the "warmth" in sound? I can provide a video where the Fourier analysis on DJM 900NXS has a cleaner sound. In other words, less distortion. Personally, I don't care for warmth. I care about clarity. When it comes to the digital vs analog debate it's really a debate about math and what the human ear can perceive.

@@ErwinSchrodinger64 Harmonic distortion, yes. The A+H mixers provide more harmonic enrichment, whereas the DJM mixers have more digital distortion.

@@djbobrokk723 Yeah i stay on pioneer beacuse they have features i need and denon doesnt have those things. Cant comment on SC6000M atleast there would not be jog wheel problem. I bet it is awesome unit for vinyl feel.
