how can you adjust the cross fader/faders from heavy to light etc, i don't see buttons for it.

I don’t think you can, and there is no screw anywhere to do it. I know it’s not the same but you have the configuration of the cut lag in the configuration of the mixer part. If you want to see how the cross-fader works, go watch the live we’ve done about the DDJ-1000SRT, it’s just after this video, it’s in French but you will see a great scratch part from my friend Hakim from his dj school.

It can be adjusted via the serato software settings.

DJ Outlandish I think I meant the force, not the curve. The curve is in Serato settings, the force is nowhere.

Yep Two solutions / exemples : - two speakers on master and bass on booth - bass ( with 2 in and 2 out ) on master and speakers on bass

how can you control the Serato effects with the controller? There are no hardware buttons for it.

You have to take something like DDJ-SP1 :-/

@@DJSTUFF thanks for the answer. so i get the serato suite with the controller and can´t use the serato effect pack without another unit/controller... pioneer great work :( so stupid!!!! they selling crap to the user!!!! sell old crap and still make money. so useless ...would be easier to make the controller cheaper and then the serato user decide for themselves what they want for packs!

There really needs to be a Pioneer DDJ-800SRT for those of us who use Serato and have no use for 4 channels, I do not want to pay the extra money for 2 channels I would never use and the extra size 4 channels require does not appeal as it makes the unit less portable. If Pioneer can make a 1000SRT it probably would not be difficult to produce the 800 Serato version and offer a wider product range.

Has anyone tried to fit a ddj-1000srt in the pioneer djc-sc5 bag to see if it will fit in real-life? Only an actual attempt will answer this! ;) (BTW. The width of the 1000 srt is 4.4 cm wider than the sx2/sx3 units that the djc-sc5 soft bag was made for; and the heights and depths of both ddj units are approx the same - but maybe IN REAL-LIFE the 1000srt WILL fit in the djc-sc5 soft bag?) (I want to see if I'll have to buy another bag too if i buy the 1000 srt - or if I can use the one I have) ;)
