Unfortunately eBay is the last best hope for these parts after organdonorparts closed up shop.

Thank you for taking the time to record and post this. Does the PL-518 have a ball bearing at the end of the spindle shaft? Do you know the size of the bearing if it has one. Again, thank you

I don't recall...the service manual doesn't have one listed (at least as far as I can tell).

@@millervintagehifi3034 Thank you for the quick replay. I was just trying to confirm for a friend servicing his 518. You are correct the SM does not show one, but subsequently found that the 518 uses a round spindle shaft that is the bearing point. Again, thank you!! Great Vids on your site. I'm a sub now, enjoying your service and repairs!

Even if you bring this turntable back to original, it's still, while maybe not a total POS, pretty much a POS. The Pl-512, Pl-514 with synchronous motor belt drive are superior designs with much more accurate speed designs.

I'm not a fan of the grey plinth Pioneer turntables.

@@millervintagehifi3034If it’s about the color you can peel the grey veneer off very easily and replace with whatever you want.

What are you cleaning the speed control buttons/knob with?

I typically use WD 40 CONTACT CLEANER (yes, they make a residue-free contact cleaner) and/or Deoxit Faderlube.
