Got mine back...and sounding as good as ever.. but need a pair of speaker wire connectors for set C. I've seen the knock offs on the web with the twisted + terminal but they dont sit tight and flat to the panel.. Looking for OEM..!! Really like this unit.. Cheers

OEM are easy to find but more expensive. I have a few different ones that are knockoffs that work great, and I've made a few also.

Such a nostalgia rush. I had this receiver almost 50 years ago.

Great vintage receiver

I picked up a couple of pairs of knock offs front an ebay store that'll work fine. They were a tad more expensive than the oem pair I found so I'm good now. Just waiting for them to arrive.

That sure is a clean SX-727. I noticed the Stereo indicator lamp is permanently lit - wiring mistake perhaps.

I don't remember details of this receiver, but I believe (could be wrong, let me know) if you replace the incandescents with LEDs then it doesn't go out all the way, and just gets dimmer. Less current needed to light them up.

So I have one. It was my dad's who passed away. Not sure if I should keep it 😂

I'd for sure keep it, those are awesome receivers.

I'd keep it, but I'm already into this stuff. If you are not, there is nothing wrong with passing it on or selling it to someone who would enjoy it more.

Canton Plus S, very small and very good vintage speakers

Shut up and take my money! Lol. Real nice unit, used to have the baby bro 626 and always thought 727 was the best of the 2s
