Good evening everyone, I’m kind of out of place on my post. I’m taking a vacation day tomorrow because my wife needs to do some things and I will watch the kids.
I hooked up the Pioneer VSX-D1S tonight. This is a great receiver, it’s the end of the line of the Pioneer 80s/90s era monsters, and it definitely has a lot of features to boot.
130 W per channel, truth be told it has a lot of the same components as the: VSX-9900, VSX-D901 and the VSX-D902.
The pulldown front panel and additional display and button options make this stand out. But it’s not the most reliable receiver, and it generates a lot of heat, if you have one of these, I would suggest you take it out of your stereo cabinet enclosure.
Tonight, I thought I would go a little bit behind the scenes and explain my demonstration set up. You’ll see some of the speakers and resident equipment. That’s in place whenever I am enjoying music.
And being off tomorrow, tonight is one of those nights where I’m hanging out and relaxing. And I’m also teaching my kids about great music which I will pass on them.
