It's amazing to think this track was originally supposed to be on Mario Kart DS but cut to hardware limitations. Honestly it does seem like this track was made for the DS with its simplicity but also with how much is going on in the track is seems like they altered it heavily for Mario Kart 8 and then decided to throw it in tour for the heck of it. Honestly so far I really like it. It's not too simple, not too hectic. Has a really nice balance. Should be very fun on 200cc watching everyone wipe out on it lol

each ranked week follows the same pattern Piranha Plant Pipeline A pyramid desert track (Week 1: Yoshi Desert and Week 2: Dry Dry Ruins) Piranha Plant Cove (Week 1: second route and Week 2: first route)

honestly the more i think about the nitro tour tracks (and the booster’s nitro tracks since those are still from tour) the more i long for a mario kart 9. i don’t really mind these tracks, some are still great and new tracks are still cool, but when you compare how tracks were evolving up until 8, they kinda feel underwhelming

Definitely. While there's some great ones, they are held back since they are from a mobile game. Hopefully overtime they can be improved with each release as retros.

Yeah one nitro was scrapped but it there was 3 so these 2 will be in wave 6

It is most likely a rumored Halloween nitro track has been scrapped. But this track could be in the next console version (9, 10 or Nintendo) Mario Kart as a base track. So PPC and PPP will be in wave 6 after all. News is that the Switch 2 will be much more graphics capable and have support for 60FPS games and will be out by March 2024. This also means there will be no BCP 2 DLC as well.

I wouldn’t be that sure that this will be in wave 6. We won’t get both Piranha Plant tracks in the dlc. There’s two nitros and one is going to be a brand new track that will be announced in autumn before the wave comes out to create hype, like Yoshi’s Island or Squeaky Clean Sprint. Plus they don’t wanna have two tracks themed after the same character in one wave

Cap. All tour nitros will come to bcp. We got the last city left too. There are no more gaps in the id gap for room for a new nitro. Only mobMD and some other retros. Not to mention in the mk8 datamine for wave 5. Wii moonview takes up one of the blank spots of wave 6 (prefix leak). Which probably means there is no 3rd tour non city course. Which means there will be 4 tour tracks. Rome, the next city, cove, and pipeline.

No all the nitros will be there. Piranha Plant Cove should be there especially considering it’s been out much longer than Piranha Plant Pipeline. We should be getting one more city track as well, which will be either Rome or the new one which is yet to be released (possibly Madrid).

One will be one of the Piranha Plant tracks, and the other will be a brand new track that will be announced later to create hype, in a similar way that Yoshi’s Island was announced. The other Piranha Plant track will be sacrificed

It’s because it’s in tour. -The camera angle is AWFUL. -Everyone is going realllly slow. -There’s only 2 laps. -the textures are literally just solid colors. Don’t worry, all of this stuff will be fixed if it’s added to wave 6.
