@@PipeDoctor Install tip. When you hang the units with all thread and uni-strut. Spread the all thread out past the ends of the unit and do your perpendicular uni-strut. Then nut and bolt 2 pieces of uni-strut horizontal to the air handler/furnace the long ways. Keeps the cabinet from sagging and keeps the all thread out of the way for future service. I know it isn’t required but to make sure you wire the thermostat into the proper colors on the air handler but I see you use an off color for O/B reversing valve. I was taught the “standard” color for reversing valve to use orange. That is how I see mostly down south in our heat pumps. Might make it easier for the next guy when troubleshooting a problem. In the end doesn’t matter as long as color is correct on unit to thermostat just makes it easier at a glance when looking initially.

What does these jobs usually cost ? I know there may be many different equipment so let’s just say Bosch 20 series heat pump 3 ton with a Bosch gas matched furnace.

@mikeypipes Recovery cylinder capacity is based on water weight, HVAC School has a great calculator on its app that will give you the correct numbers for maximum fill capacity. Also, weigh out that recovered amount for proper record keeping as the final person in the disposal chain. The compressor's low side receives low-pressure low-temperature vapor. It DOES NOT PUMP OUT LIQUID. It pumps out high-pressure high-temperature vapor. I'm sure these were just early morning misstatements but I know you strive for excellence and just wanted to point these things, out as my HVAC students were screaming at the screen when we viewed this video in the classroom. Keep up the good work

Do they make a dual cutoff box? I'm looking at a heat pump, and ac unit on a two story house, and would prefer a single cutoff box. The ground floor on slab has mild temps, so a pump would work. and is that an all aluminum evap coil? I sort of like the price of them, but never had one.
