What you showed him with those two pump pliers Is basically how you hold and remove router bits. Much easier to push than pull. You place wrench one holding the base and wrench 2 on the collet you want to loosen. Engage them so they are able to be gripped with one hand, and then squeeze them together with one hand. That usually breaks them free. One hand squeezing is stronger than 2 pushing together.

11:45 Its the classic alligator jaw. They have tremendous power closing their jaw, but have no muscles trying to open them. Same thing here, pushing your arms apart is much tougher than pushing them together. Also for Peter, don't get nervous when the camera is on you. The only person you need to be concerned with is Mike, he is trying to help you along. He might poke fun from time to time, but really he is helping you learn all these different things. 👍

Why no pressure relief valve on the system install in 2020?
@brucerobak1452 жыл бұрын
I thought I heard that too in the beginning of the video. If that's so the boiler is unsafe.
@brucerobak1452 жыл бұрын
I see from the first video of this boiler repair a pressure relief valve on the right side of the boiler, so we're good in that dept. Looks like a defective pump then should be under mfg warranty.
@throttlebottle59062 жыл бұрын
that was on the closed hydronic loop side of a heat exchanger and not the boiler side, which is actually steam. but yes it should have had a relief valve on that loop, lucky it didn't rupture something else in the loop.

I agree with what Mike is saying about the wrench positioning...BUT, Peter was putting himself at a huge disadvantage by having the tank in the bucket and reaching down into it. His wrench contact angles were all wrong. The wrenches need to be perpendicular to the fitting axis, and Peter was more than 25 degrees away from that plane. Plus, the working elements were below his knees, and even if he could have placed the wrenches correctly, it would have taken a lot more strength to do it down low inside the bucket. If you keep your hands within your torso area for these smaller jobs, you have more power. Obviously, a pair of 36's won't be right in front of your torso, but that is because they are so large.

poor gauge, the pressure went to the moon and expanded the bellow(semi circular tube) and it pinned the needle. I'm betting it hit 300+psi before the pump seal let go. lucky it didn't blow apart something else in the system.

Mikey the customer was correct. You missed it. He was asking if Bobby Axe was the same red haired guy that was in jail because you mentioned he was in Homeland. That's the jail he was talking about. That show went downhill after they took him out. Shits an Giggles I watched a British show on Netflix about an MP accused of raping a girl in his office. I knew this guy looked familiar but he was all prim and proper. Holy shit it was Quinn from Homeland. It was a good series but I can't remember the name.

Teach Peter to use pliers in a manner where he’s pulling towards himself, instead of holding the pliers close to him trying to push. You get better force pulling. I notice him and Daniel doing the same when using pipe wrenches. It makes me cringe every time.

And no btc will tend down. Down to a point where hedge funds and institutions will buy in. The problem with crypto is the lack of adoption from the people who matter....hedge funds. They will have to buy but won't at these prices. It will crash down at levels that will freak people out. At that time btc then hits over 200k. Don't forget that we are actually in a recession, 2 quarters of gdp declining. The fed meeting tomorrow will tank the market when they hike rates from the expectation of 50 points to +75. Netflix is not done falling either, along with oaypal and draftkings, and pltr, and esty, and and the d and p will drop 15% the end of 2022. Buckle up folks 2008 again on roids.
