I believe that's all HVAC foil tape. used to hold the insulation in place. the tape itself may reflect a miniscule amount of heat back(lol)

those in wall style convector may be multi-channel and have bleeders per unit. I don't recall 100% though.

air bound, go figure. it's always a pain to get the air out and everything may need purged multiple times. now the issue with purging at all, is you've put fresh water in full of oxygen and it's often aerated(city water), which produces a ton of air in the system to come back and bite you. 😬

You know I can’t find the solution to my problem. I’ve watched several videos of yours now and I figured why not ask. I have a luxaire 9m furnace, and it won’t fire on regular heat. I have to use emergency heat, and then it works fine, but I have to imagine it’s not as efficient, and I’m trying to get it to work. Is this a system you’ve ever worked on

Mikey pipes. Problem I feel is when you approach a customer& make recommendations if you give them choices or are not completely clear in your quote and get involved you now own the job. If you felt reg valve slow fed? Don’t touch job unless they agree to do the work right? I’m I wrong?

@ yes it is. Now the customer feels you own it. I always feel strongly I’d rather leave you now than disappoint you later. If I give you a full professional evaluation and recommend things. You choose to go alcart on me. Then want to put the owners on me? Rather not do it. Get someone else u either value me or dont? Trust me or don’t.

I enjoy watching the boss deal with issues. The customer needs to pay attention to previous invoices where the rejected suggestion of needed repairs are noted. The art of purging is difficult when pressure reducing valve should be the scrap bucket.

Tough spot. Some customers just won't budge, even when it's cheaper in the long run. They'll end up paying more for emergency repairs, but you can't force someone to see the value in preventative maintenance.

4:00 stop looking at it, as we all know just looking at copper that bad will spite you and leak and/or break on you; especially if just have a hair strand, feather, whatever land on it. Than, if really hates ya, will break right inside the wall cavity, or better yet; right smack dab inside joist/etc….making everything so much fun😂
