I’ve been a contractor since 1984. In the 90s the Jose’s have been filtering in. Fast forward to today. Construction quality has hit rock bottom and the mentality is what do you expect, well it’s good enough, at least they try, sloppy work sites but hey I saved a few bucks. I’ve seen it all. But when Dave or Steve show up and there is a tiny little flaw we’re holding their check until it’s perfect, this is just unacceptable. That’s how it is today folks.

Mike, good service call. Add the Guide E2 thermal image cameria to your list of tools in the comments section. Had a NJ contractor who did my oil to gas convertion do maintenance on my Carlin gas burner that replaced a Beckit oil burner on my Weil McClain 5 section Gold boiler. He didn't have a monomiter to check the system was still in spec. I asked if he was going to do a combustion analysis and he said it was a $120 add to the maintence call. Wont be dealing with them anymore. Feels like the airlines with all the extra add on charges. Tech spent 20 minutes in his service truck, brought out his combustion analysis tool, the battery was dead. It was last calibrated over a year ago. I told him no thanks as I have no confidence in his demonstrated performance in comparison to your service videos.

That happened on my parents commercial building. The tenant hired a contractor swapped out our aluminum ladder for a rotted out wooden ladder. You took our ladder and left the garbage behind too? That was the inside ladder for changing light bulbs and for fixing the roll gates too.
