Hey, Paul. Very good demo, but I have a question. In your case the fields "Email Template Deal" and "Email Template Lead" have already options to choose from. But in my account I don't have such fields, I have this sign "Type at least 2 characters to search" and an empty field, where I can write, however when I write something there it can't find anything(( What am I doing wrong? Have you enabled the fields when you add the Send Email action to your automation?

Can we use it to handle emails for 2 or more organizations? Like 1 is related to clothes shop and other shop/or is related to real estate.

You can only connect one email account per Pipedrive user account. So it sounds like you'd need two Pipedrive user accounts with one email address connected to each.

Great feature the automation. I found that if you upload a spreadsheet of contacts and you create a bunch of deals automatically, the automation doesn't work with the import, is there a work around? Tks

That's correct. You could get around this by having a similar automation to trigger when you update the deals later e.g. moving to a new stage, or simply changing a dummy field to trigger the automation.

paul, great video. if i wanted to go cold email drip campaigns, what do recommend? I also use kixie. if a cold suspect opens an email more that 2x, can i flag it to a calling campaign? (have it ring on all my salespersons phones)

Kixie is a good option. I'm not sure about that. I suppose if there is a way to have Kixie trigger Zapier after 2x opens you could then generate an activity to call.

This may be due to a permission setting. Check with your admin to make sure you have permission to import files.

Hey Paul, I have been binge watching your videos. Thank you for making them. I have been using pipe drive for about 3 years. How about a video on automating the importing of Firstname and Email of new subscribers from Drip or Mailchimp and make them as Contacts only (not Deals). It would be for lead nurturing.

You seem like a pretty stout pipedrive user... I use Netsuite for orders and we can't figure out how to connect the 2 so that it is easy to see if the customer has placed an order recently. Netsuite has it's on CRM, but it is nowhere near as good or easy to use. Just wondering if you have any suggestions...

Thanks. I haven't found a good way to integrate them to be honest. We do most of our integrations using Zapier and Netsuite hasn't built support for this yet (their system seems to be quite closed).

Hi Paul. Great video and i've been wanting to work out if Pipedrive will allow a timebase email follow up. ie. I'm wanting my 'lead' stage to automatically trigger a follow up email if the deal starts rotting and/or if the deal has no activity for a particular amount of days (say after 5 days of first email). Is this possible through the pipedrive automation or do I need to use Zapier for this?

Hi Phil, this would definitely be a Zapier thing. You could have a Zap trigger from a deal filter and the filter would show deals that have been inactive or haven't moved for X days. You could then trigger the email through Gmail (or similar).

Do you know if there's a way to send bulk emails from the Organizations tab and not the Contacts tab? I'd like to send emails to companies and not specific people. All my e-mail addresses are under the Organizations tab.

Unfortunately this isn't possible. The reason being is that normally you don't email a company, you email a person who works at the company. You will need to set up a contact first and make sure the email is listed on the person.

Paul, can pipedrive use an email that I designed in MailChimp? The email has graphics and is designed in the MailChimp format.

Not really but you could use Zapier to integrate Mailchimp. e.g. when a deal gets to a certain stage, trigger an email to be sent via Mailchimp

I'm not sure about the ones that you listed but I'm using ConvertKit and it integrates well using Zapier. I've also integrated Mailchimp successfully as well. It depends a little on what you're looking for in your marketing automation tool.

When you click on a deal, you'll be able to see emails that you've sent to that person and the eye icon will be greyed out if it hasn't been opened.

Are you able to send them into a automated drip sequence where it automatically sends followup emails depending on whether they open or ignore the email? Or would you have to manually follow up yourself by selecting templates

You could do this if you integrate a tool like Klenty which can track opens/clicks and send follows ups based on the engagement.

I've never had this sorry. Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting your email? Also check that you have allowed images to load in your email settings.
