Thank you for the upload. Michael Barone is excellent as a presentator also live. Barone is of great importance for the organ art.

Pastor Princess, Pipe organs are simply amazing to play and listen to. I have the pleasure of playing the pipe organ at my church. So much fun☺️

Latry and Barone: I can't imagine a better team to explain the pipe organ to many lay listeners. (Though the immensely gifted Jonathan Scott, from England, is certainly doing his huge part in promoting the organ!) The organ is such a mystery to non-organists, and there are so many questions, and misconceptions, to be answered and clarified. And with knowledge comes a deeper appreciation. So, I offer my thanks to all involved in making this possible for so many.

@@Pipe-organ-recordings Organists, and lovers of organ music, are a tight confederation/brother-sisterhood than spans the globe. And it's wonderful to see the art of organ-building/refurbishment flourishing worldwide... along with recital attendance. I am very sorry to see that the new/under construction Performing Arts Center in Orlando, FL will, apparently, not be including a great concert-hall pipe organ. This is a stupid and grave error on the city's part, in my (and many other's) opinion. I know that there was a strong push from local organ lovers several years ago to not neglect this feature, but the "money people" had the last word, apparently... as is frequently the case.

Nice video. Thank you, Michael Barone. In years past, I would listen to Pipedreams for many years on South Carolina public Radio, but for some reason, the state decided persons in the smaller towns of the state didn't need to listen to music, and the Aiken, SC station was changed to an all-news format. I really miss your great programs.

Send your thoughts in to the station. This David Kiser of On the Keys, btw, that plays on the classical station.( I increasingly play more organ music)

What's he playing to demonstrate the flutes and the strings? Very interesting sounding pieces.
