The hypoxia recognition system kicks in if it detects the cabin altitude rising above 14000 feet. Basically, if there is a leak.

The system uses 4500' minimum length runways to allow it to stop safely without braking. Remember, the prop is reversible.

Why is the TBM so much faster

TBM has a PT6-66D with 850HP vs M600 with a PT6A-42A with 600HP.
