Town of Salem is a social deduction game similar to Among us and Goose Goose Duck. Among Us/Goose Goose Duck allows you to play the game with up to 4-15 players, Town of Salem allows up to 15 players in a single game.
Like Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, you can be good or evil with factions such as Town, Mafia and Neutrals. Among/Goose Goose Duck us has 2 roles (without mods), town of salem has 33 different characters in the base game. Town of Salem is a great alternative to Among Us/Goose Goose duck if you're looking for another game in the social deduction genre. @@LycanFerret He might have gotten it wrong, if you add all the numbers up, real surv d1, fake surv d1, and real surv no claim d1, real surv d1 is about 30% of the total. That does not mean he was right, but it might explain where he got his number from.

My thoughts on survivor: The nice part of being an ACTUAL survivor is you can play like a townie with basic defense. You can call out obvious evils and stay safe behind your vests. You still have the option to abandon ship and swap to evils as both the vests and the town's majority run out, but as long as the town plays well it doesn't have to come to that. The biggest mistake I see survivors make is hiding information from the town. It's that old saying of "If you're innocent you have nothing to hide." it looks FAR more suspicious if you wait until someone else calls you out for having defense, you have almost nothing to really defend yourself with other than claiming you were shot and saved by your vest first, and claiming survivor on the stand after that... is not a winning argument. Sitting in the corner saying nothing and refusing to vote anyone doesn't make you look good to the town, it makes you look like an arsonist trying to hide. Even if you never plan to actually help town you still need to put in just as much effort as an evil does. To survive as survivor you NEED to look good to the town, they're the ones most likely to throw you out and they generally have majority. Don't defend everyone who gets voted up, but if you think the town is being sheeped into a mis-lynch absolutely speak up. A survivor who defends a townie on the stand and votes innocent when the townie gets mis-lynched earns a lot of credit with the town. Keep in mind as survivor the most important thing for you is that the game ends as soon as possible. Winning over the town as survivor helps both you and them, they can then send their TIs, Escorts, and vigilantes to check, rb, and shoot other people. As a final closing point... If you know a Hex Master is in the game, you should immediately side any and all non-coven. In order for the hex bomb to go off you WILL get hexed and your vests will not save you. Hex Masters are to Survivors as Arsonists are to Witches. You can technically win with them, but they'll happily toss you under the truck on their way to their own victory.

The other guy had 3 doused too. After a massive 8 person nuke we both were the last standing. This was an insane win

I remember one of my games as mayor, I was playing as Psychotic Mayor and whoever I voted first will be sentenced to death, and for some reasons, I was guessing evils left and right. Imma just slide in the correct way to play surv: Push everyone, get evils out, it makes the game faster abd you arent sithouth vest too long (also it might make some townies thing you are a town fake claiming) Usually i got with up [x] in the last 2 seconds of discussion time and it rolls into a that player getting hanged

I've found that pipe usually fakeclaims a town role as and waits until late game to claim surv in whispers to whatever faction he wants to side. it does have a downside in that people arent likely to trust you if you later reveal youre surv, but it avoids the "lazy" play of claiming d1 and asking for TI

To be fair, the surv vs fake surv claim count may be scewed by the custom role lists, but in such a high quantity, yeah it's fine to kill survs. I mean if they are a real surv, they deserve to lose. If you put no effort into a game, you lose, so don't give people a win for putting in no effort. Also thankyou for fake claiming as a surv, finally someone making surv interesting, even if it was a psychic claim.

Problem is proving intent. People can disconnect because of internet issues. If they blatantly ragequit then that is gamethrowing/poor sportsmanship.

@@theravensomen1427I don't think intent really needs to be proven in cases of disconnects. If the player has such unreliable internet that they consistently disconnect from games, then they shouldn't be able to play until they can get a reliable connection. Whether there is or isn't intent, the end result is the same and games are ruined. This ideology already has a precedent of being enforced in many popular games. For example, CS:GO. Valve infamously does not care what causes disconnects, only that a consistent disconnector cannot play (since the end result is the same).
