EXACTLY! They took F2P gems and tried to paywall them behind owning a fully boosted team to have even a SMALL chance of getting enough hime's to get 20 gems and some super cola. It's beyond scummy. Nobody in my alliance, even the whales, got enough hime's to get even the 20 hime reward. The whales in my alliance are pissed! The increased drop rates are a flat out lie unless they went from 1% to 1.1%. Basically no change.

Real, they stole 20 gems for most of us, even the ones reaching lvl 150 and completing all regular missions. If at least those 20 gems were extra, then ok. But they're just hiding this behind a "hey, we're giving you more rewards", when we have the same rewards almost.

I firmly believe they have been trying to "soft kill" the game so that they can "save face" and open up the franchise for a new OP game. It seems like Bandai won't approve another until one of the big two dies first.

They also reduced the time on the time gated missions. It used to be 14 days, this time it was barely 10, which made the whole mess with trying to get himes even worse.

Really bad changes. Not only did they time lock the hime turtle quest, they also took 20 gems of the usual „any turtle drop“ quest line and put it into the hime turtle quests. Utterly ridiculous. I would probably keep my mouth shut if they gave us much more time for the hime quests instead of just 12ish days or so.

They gave us 9 days. The counter was on 9 days b/c they also decreased the usual amount of time we had to do that half of the missions.

I have done 10+ runs on 150 and only gotten 1 Hime. It's completely unfair that I'm losing rewards because they are locked to RNG and is literally impossible for me to do now

What they did made this mode more a chore, even worse than it was already, just to try to force people to pull for new units: - The mode is open for a whole month but you "have" to end it in 14 days -> reduced to 10 days to try to force people to pull batch to complete it. It's a bad change, but it seems they are catering the game only for whales, which is valid if they want to, but at least be transparent about it; - Rewards for this mode weren't that great already -> reduce gem rewards by 40% (calling it NEW missions, but shifting rewards from older ones), since it's virtually impossible to get 20 of the 50 gems, making it a lucky 1% that gets those, even with new batch you might not get a single run with himes (seemingly like 14th/15th win in GP, which is another bad mode); - Not solving at all the incentive to play PKA after 150 -> during the map, the favourite spots are useless and should be completely gone, reward spots should only give turtles, cola, gems and no more statues if you already cleared the mode. The rewards for the boss fight at lvl 150 should be guaranteed better than they are now, as you stated. The change they did and how they advertised it could be seen as false advertisement, but since it's on a game mode where the rates are not even obligated to be shown and not on a banner, there's not much that we can do apart from making a fuss about it, and thank you for the video which hopefully will reach them! If they are in good faith, they might acknowledge the mistake it seems to have happened, which was they actually increased the himes on after mini battle rewards instead of the boss fight drop rate, and compensate us all for this stupid change. Obviously if they want to keep calling us all stupid, nothing will happen, and next month we'll be here again, accepting this same problem until we all give up on hoping the game's direction will revert back to the fun we once had.

Most modern gacha games make you want to play, without forcing you to do so at all, being able to do dailies in 10 minutes if you have low time to invest and debuting like 2-4 units per cycle. OPTC forces you to play with a booster meta with tight time limited monthly events, debuting units every week and has one of the worst gacha rates/prices out there. Unfortunately we didn't receive a positive change for years and the game keeps running because we all love One Piece and there's no really competition game wise. And whales keep whaling, which is what they focus on.

got over 2000 characters.. for example spent over 2500 gems at last new years sugo and got great units.. out of all those characters only a single one boosts my PKA drop rate by more than 0.3x.. I grinded 6 runs of PKA every single day and didnt even make it to 400 normal turtles for the 500 turtle quest... wish i could say it was at least fun 😂😂😂

It would be good that both communities, japanese and global could join in order to ask bandai to remove Yoshi as game director for OPTC, slowly but steady he ended up removing every single piece of content, leaving the game on a permanent loop where only on special cases (Summer, Christmas, New Year, anniv...) we see something different, and most of the time are things you can't play unless you pull the new units. Where are the colloseums? Where are the raids/arenas? The forests? Garp Challenges? We've been privated of literally everything that made the game one of the best of the PlayStore.

I've reached Lv150 last week and since then I got literally 4 Hime Turtles. And I'm running the Gear5/Psy Nami team which is really efficient.

They said they increased the Hime Turtles for level 150? It definitely doesnt feel, or they definitely didn't implement this like this. Last 10 runs the only Hime Turtles I've acquired is through the treasure chests. They don't even count towards the chopper man rewards... Bandai is hurting the players in the end of the day. Plus, they're cutting rewards unless you get insane luck on finding the Hime Turtles to get those extra gems that shoulda been all able to get by 500 regular turtles. They should have given us a bonus for the Hime Turtles, not cut back rewards. Really shady... Also, Cola shouldn't be dropped in level 150...

It's all about money. Shorter time makes players more unsettled about completing the missions, and they go for the new boosted units.

I don't see an issue with guarenteed himes at 150. makes it worth for people that pull on PKA banner (which otherwise are not that useful if you have a good box already) and also a good incentive for people to keep playing PKA past CMM. It's not like you can just 150 a unit you still need 9 extra copies or posters to max them out.

I think they want you to play the mini bosses also on 150. But i dont know if those drops count to the mission. But if it does then you have to play all bosses at 150. I am only half way through and i won't make it for sure

@@sebastianj9920 as far as I know, hime drops from the mini bosses do count to the CMM. It's still RNG if any drop, and then further RNG if they get duped though.

The whole game has issues at this point that has been detailed to death by others on Reddit. The 10th anni was so uneventful for a massive 10 year anniversary. This game died and only panders to the whales now. The only reason I still play is for my love of One Piece and how long I have played this game for.

Hime Turtle drops are far to rare, there are also other issues like you mentioned (cola, stage drops, statue use past lvl150, time consuption in farming, ...) If it's not changing for the better next season, it'll join Treasure Map & CO-OP in game modes to be ignored for me (not worth the time)

Anniversary for the tenth.. was really subpar at least in my opinion (Pulled every unit aside from Roger) - And then they still make a change to make it even less player friendly with the new requirements / farming turtles... it's so baffling and out of touch with the players

You all, as content creator, either start being really vocal about ALL the issues we have or they'll simply keep doing everything they please just as they've done since the sync. Look at the fact that the F2P side of the game barely exists anymore and new players don't keep playing once the golden beginning period is over. Reaper calls them out, Subconsi said he wouldn't pull as much until changes were made and supposedly he's doing it. What about every other one of you? Take a good look at the recent changes, including the new game mode, and see how many of those were positive. Every recent change has been half-assed. Co-Op doesn't work and it's been like that both times it came out. Kizuna is unbelievably mismanaged under every single aspect. GP is still unfair to too many players. TM barely has boosted units anymore and you either pull or are at a great disadvantage. PKA is now pretty fucked up too for basically everyone, from whales to F2P players. No wonder people seems to enjoy PvP that much lately since it is the only thing that works correctly and it's pretty automatic too. Call them out. At the very least, try and make them justify WHY these stupid changes have been made. OPTC Dev Letters have just been advertisement for new banners lately too so they're worthless. The community isn't happy, particularly so if you get a bit away from the whale side of the game. Give them pointers if you can 'cause they clearly have no clue what they're doing. The

Effort, at least you can play it during a month and no 3 days for not getting enough Kizuna points to buy any skull and the skull for 6+ bonnie still not available, why?? are 2 months since it was her kizuna? why so much time for adding the skulls? But I ve been playing PKA for a week and I should have 2 hime turtles not only 1. Nice. I think there are a lot of problems to talk about of how this games works. Not the drops of the stupid hime turtles.

OPTC never does anything to help players in these events. They only make things worse by grinding more or blocking ways for players to do their farms. The current change has nothing to do with helping players, they are just forcing players to grind even more at higher levels to get rewards that we were already getting to begin with, and they just removed it.
