Powerful scene. I love the fact that Beckett just accepts that he is going to die and the way he says his final line and walks down the stairs with the destruction around him and everything is in slow motion with the music as well makes it epic. One of the best moments of Pirates of the Caribbean.

@@huguettepompette For sure! aside from the cinematography which is 10/10, it just shows Beckett's huge weakness without a single voice line. He's a brilliant strategist that is exceptionally good at staying ahead of his opponents, but he can't process when something doesn't go according to plan. He could have easily sunk the pearl and damaged the Dutchman there if he told his crew to fire
