magical plot armor and pirates dressed as women, with Margot Robbie playing a character who at first identifies as a male merperson, then has to prove it. after she can't they have her dress like a dude with a circus theme to her wardrobe for lying to them. they could call it, pirates of the Caribbean, men need not apply.

100%. The only reason the character Will worked is because of Jack sparrow. It’s like Michael Bluth in Arrested Development, his character is based on being the audience and the voice of normality. The never replaced Jack with a crazy character/s and it’s far too late to do so now, so the only option is to bring him back.

Absolutely not. Nobody will watch it without the original cast. If they really care about the fans and the franchise over the money, they apologize to Depp and bring him back as Captain Jack. Bring Jack, Barbossa, Gibbs, Will, Elizabeth, and Davy Jones back along with The Pearl and The Flying Dutchman, and end the franchise with Jack, Barbossa, Gibbs, and Davy Jones choosing to go down with the ship, while Will and Elizabeth leave the pirates life. I think it could be the one and only franchise where the characters dying is best. It's not just about living forever...The trick is living with yourself forever. -Captain Teague

Would NEVER watch a Jackless Pirates of the Caribbean. He was literally the life of every movie. The series would have flopped on movie #1 without Jack Sparrow. Johnny Depp was a victim of a ruthless psychopath that dumped in their own bed. The LEAST Disney can do is apologize to him for taking her side.
