Pit Boss 1150 Navigator Review

After comparing the Pro and Navigator I went with the Navigator. Three things it came with that the Pro didn't (for the same price at my location) is a much bigger folding shelf, two temp probes instead of one, and the cover was included. I'd rather have those three things than the wireless app. When I BBQ, it's a process that I enjoy being around for (even for a huge brisket). Perhaps I may add that feature in the future, especially since Pit Boss is currently busy updating that feature on the current Pro Series (with previous owners having to remove and send in their PID's in to be flashed and updated.) I got my new pro series today at Lowe’s it is very nice. Has the new updated controller and everything. Four probes and 32 lbd hopper as well as easy clean out on the bottom is a no brainer. More than happy with it. Especially for the $550 I got it for

You probably figured out by now but the warmer rack is made to hang on the front shelf bracket. There is specific U shaped tabs just for the warmer rack when removed.

When it set to smoke what temp is it? Do the pellets only ignight on smoke mode?

When set to smoke it is low but the igniter is warming up and will ignite once hot enough.
