Pit Boss 700 Classic Pellet Grill RESCUED Part 2 The Cleaning. And I smoked some baby back ribs just to make sure it works! :) Part 1 was figuring out what was wrong with it and it turned out that the auger was clogged. Today, I power washed, scrubbed, scraped, vacumed and seasoned. And now it's ready for a new home. If your pellet grill stops working, try to fix it before tossing it. Unless of course you just want to upgrade. Fix your old one and rehome it.

I used a wire wheel on an angle grinder to deep clean my Pit Boss once. What a mistake! It took me three showers to get the burnt grease off. I learned my lesson the hard way.

I’m on my second Classic! It has constantly had issues holding correct temperature after setting the temp past 300

Sorry to hear that, Bill! I obviously haven't has this long, and my nephew never mentioned it having temp issues. Unless I'm doing chicken, most cooks are 225 or 250. I hope you have an awesome day!✌️👍
