Glad I followed the instructions. I got mine preassembled at Lowe’s. 8 of the 12 screws holding the legs were lose, one was completely out. After checking all the rest the burn in went great.

Yeah... been looking at the Traeger and honestly, you don't get squat going with them. The Pitt Boss has gotten so many great reviews plus they don't nickel and dime the customer with not giving you any lower shelf system, hooks for hanging stuff and the list goes on. Crazy thing is, I live in the state where Traeger is made and even over here you'd think they'd offer a better price to value for it. Way too many options out there to just buy into a name. good review.

If it has been 350 degrees F for 2 minutes and goes to 400 for ten seconds, our readers will show you. Other grill makers give you an average temperature over a wider period of time and don't show you the sudden change. Because of that people have complained about the readings jumping, but flare ups happen in all wood pellet grills, we're just letting you see it on the reader where others won't so you don't know. End product winds up the same, really, so they don't think its a problem.

Its a pellet grill.....1.5 years on and still running great...yes there will be temp swings, pellets burning out and temp dropping, auger puts more pellets in temp rises....not sure what people expect....not even including the weather and outside temps.

Bought mine in march from Lowe's worked great for a few months and it started tripping the gfi breaker once in a awhile but yesterday it was tripping it every 5 mins and would keep running like it was on high, called customer service they said it was the igniter or the auger that was malfunctioning needless to say I was supposed to have 40 people over yesterday for bbq ended up using my gas grill...Good ol' dependable Weber never fails.....anybody want to buy my gently used pit boss 😂

I'd say change breaker to non gfi..could be nuisance tripping. Try plugging in to a non gfi and see what happens.
