Thanks for the video. I just got the Pit Boss 1150 today for my Birthday. I saw you using a wrench to put the spinning casters on. The damn instructions don’t say it but if you lock the casters, you can hand tighten them.

How easy is it for you to remove top shelve? I have to get just the right angle to remove it and also the lid handle could be lower so you don't burn your arm on the barrel.

I have that exact same one and I love it but I do have some trouble getting it to heat at 250 and 200 degrees consistently it always sits around 40 degrees lower than what I set it at. Works great at higher temps tho

You need to pre-heat 300-350f as you reach it open the hood and lower the temp to 250. Let the grill temp fall then close the hood. You'll sit right on 250f

I saw that I had a chip on my top grate so I called em. While I was still on the phone with the lady I got the notification in my shipping app that I had an order from them. They are sending me a new top grate. It was 15 mins total. Some of that 15 mins was the lady looking to see if they had a cpl bottom screws in the wearhouse/office she is in so she could send them to me. Whatever dumbass at lowes who put mine together to be dropped off by their delivery service neglected to attach the bottom left screws. I first called Lowe's about the screws and they did not seem to care much.

It is not 5-degree increments. I think 25 degrees although I've not really paid attention yet. Temp high 500f.

Looks like a nice grill, pit boss is making better quality stuff these days. I had a green mountain before it was ok, now i have a broil king regal 500 pellet, I found it my favorite and good bang for buck. I still prefer my charcoal grills but pellet is easy during the work week when i dont have time to babysit the temps. I enjoy your videos keep up the good work Cheers🍻

I find that most if not all damage comes from poor handling at the loading or unloading levels. If there is damage, the retailer should refuse. I have seen grills in boxes on the sales floor that are badly damaged and are still for sale.

I'm surprised at the delay I reached out Sunday about 4pm because lowes sold me old model with first controller. They responded that night before 8pm and at 7am ordered me a new controller. Honestly shocked at their response and customer service. I hope they do you right.
