@In Plain Sight It’s a doggie connection, I’ve experienced this from 1972-2022. 50 years of experience with doggie’s, and every other furry/feathery baby I’ve had in between … ducks 🦆 and birds even turtles 🐢 … Minnie poodle Beagle Yellow Lab Chocolate Lab Chihuahua Chi/rat mix Rat Terrier Not to mention my sweet neighbor doggie Delilah, a huge Rottweiler that I alone could watch while mom and dad were on vacation. RIP SWEET GIRL 😢

My dad walked home one day from the bus stop, opened his jacket and there was a black & white Staffie puppy we named Freckles. He'd walked across the grocery store parking lot and just found her there. Being the animal lover he was, he couldn't leave a pup in that situation! Their little black terrier, however, also a female made sure Freckles remembered who was boss, lol!

We adopted our beloved giant baby girl crazy Daisy in 2009 from the local shelter. She was a St. Bernard Mix and a real huuuge girl. She loved everybody and everything and we called her our Mother Theresa. Whatever we brought home was her's. Kitten were latching, birds picking her fur etc. She was such a gentle giant and pure love. Sadly she passed away in August 2019 cause of cancer and our world shattered in million pieces... She was the best friend I could ever have and there is not one second I don't miss her... I loved and love her from the bottom of my heart same as she did... 💝🐾💖💔💖🐾💝

It's amazing! This reminds me of when I was little. I only had a mom and 2 younger siblings and since she needed to work in order to support us she had to work day and night but couldn't leave us alone. Then one day my mom's brother ask her if she could take in his pitbull,Snookie, (may you rest in peace) bc he went to the army she said no at first. He then was able to convince her as time went by my mom realized the Snookie was a "nanny" bc when my mom was busy with my brother I decided to try to get out of the house and go play outside but Snookie saw and chased me down and made me go back inside. My mom saw this a immediately praised Snookie but lectured me. She would also protect us from anyone that would threatened us soon enough she could trust Snookie to help watch us which helped my mom relax more and caused us to be a better family.

BEAUTIFUL SOUL!! ❤ My adolescent male chow-chow mix did this for some abandoned new-born kittens dumped into a huge metal dumpster. The person who rescued him, asked me for help. (GLADLY.) I would move them all to the bathtub as they needed to be bottle-fed, and my guy'd sit there, very straight, waiting. Once I finished, he'd lick them tip-to-toe, and then sit right back down to wait for the next one. He let them crawl all over him, seeking to nurse, and was INCREDIBLY gentle ALL the time. Yup, another "dangerous breed". (*PS, it's the HUMANS involved -- usually -- folks!") Cali is a soul of LOVE, no question. Beams out of her.
