Pit Gets Tired of Sparring a Husky

Today a Husky tried to play and mount Winston a couple times so he slapped him and snapped at him until he stopped.
This video exists in order to educate people about dog behavior at dog parks.

Winston has such an even-keeled temperament. The dude is chill, but not a pushover. He carries himself like a gentleman. I swear he's the perfect dog.

Winston is sick of him. I couldn't tell if this was dominance or confusion because Winston is neutered and not giving off a scent🤔. He was so happy when u intervined. Thanks Dad🤪

Winston still gives off a scent to other dogs even though he's neutered. He just doesn't smell of the typical hormonal make-up the same way intact males do.

It looks to me like Winston has problems with his hip or back legs. He's really unstable in the back when he goes up. Maybe I'm wrong but I would still get it checked. Thank you for your great videos. You learn something new every time. Your dogs are just great.

Public Service Announcement: Winston, who is worth more than his weight in gold was found at a shelter. Please think about this before dropping 3 Grand for a pure breed. Too many people I know are doing that and it breaks my heart. Go visit your local shelter before paying for a pure breed ....a future beloved family member is there waiting for you.

Winston is fine, Ryan, Cassie and Tas Tiger. He is 100% a-ok. I explained this situation in more detail in one of the comments up-top. Basically, I think Winston is soft for Huskies because Neveah is a Husky.

@Gumby's Imperial Media Hi, I'm new to your channel and wonder, after your experience and long term observation of dog interactions, do you believe that dogs that have not met before recognise others from their own breed, or are perhaps drawn to them more???? I have a dog that is a "Heinz 57 variety", medium sized terrier....there's no-one that really looks like him.....but i can't say that I've observed breed being drawn to or recognising "like" breed. I just watched one of your videos where 2 Great Danes "herded" a cattle dog and that made me think of this question. Cheers from Carol from Australia

Yes. Winston is 100%. I understand your perception on Winston from the dramatic music and him walking away stuff. The theme of this video is about my vision of Winston being damned to live with high-energy Huskies. It's kind of an inside joke. I think Winston seemed a little sluggish with that Husky, because Neveah is a Husky, and therefore, he thinks, Huskies are his kind, and should be respected. That is why he is super tolerant and relaxed with Huskies, in my opinion. o_0
