Oh I wrote the comment that I’ll quote below before reading your comment! “2 things: 1) I like more the word “blasted” instead of “bombarded”, idk why 😂 2) it’s strange, but the boss seems from USA 🤔 🤨 first I noticed the accent an then confirmed by the hat, both the way he is wearing it and the logo (NBA or maybe the baseball league) 😄, anyway funny quirk! It would have been nice a brief explanation... Anyway good job, it looks brand new! The most impressive one is the steering wheel and the seats!” So thank you for the explanation, I like these quirks 😄

I actually did a 3 stage on my Tesla M3P (black paint) last weekend. Took me 13-14 hours for cleaning, compounding, polishing, priming and waxing. I can say I was completely broken for about 5-6 days. It’s hard work. But probably cost me 400-500 EUR for the DA polisher, pads and all products. But I can confirm. Totally worth it. My car also looks like a million bucks now 🙂

This makes me as emotional as when watching a working dog, having done hard work every day with muscle pains and stiffness in joints finally retired and let loose on a massive field for the years to come. Groomed - loved - able to walk, rest and jog off some of the stiffness in its adult muscles. Still being used and loved for casual and most demanding trips still, but not professionally. While getting more sofa-time. After a long excursion, the dog may take a bit longer to "recharge". It may not be as fast as it used to be. It may need a bit more attention and love and care compared to its peak years. While still being a wonderful companion for many years to come. Bouncing along with a cool new collar and leash, some added vitamins and senior food and great new shampoo for his fur. These are my actual emotions seeing my old long-haul hard-working youtube friend being pampered and restored. A bit reduced stamina. In need of slightly longer recharging/resting stops. But still being the same bouncy puppy up for every challenge. May not have the newest bells and whistles like self-driving of GPS-collar. But who needs that anyway in an old companion? Kudos to PitStop. It is wonderful to see what some love and care can do with a middle-aged thing that carries some battle scars from hard work over the years. I am saying this as a 50-year-old dude. (Maybe I should check what hairdressers are out of lockdown next week - maybe I can look young(er) and shinier too after a year of Covid by being handled by professionals?). It is really fun to watch this series. As such - Kudos to Mister Green too. This is a great way to show the potential of the colour green. Prolonging life is nothing to scoff at. We know early EV adaptors were (maybe still are) typically early adaptors. This means that they climb the tech ladder faster than most. Leaving in their wake last years mobile phone, computer, drone, EV (etc). Putting old MF back to its former glory demonstrates that while the technological forefront races away at the speed of Moore's law, just behind one find this huge wake of awesomeness at prices way more affordable than what will be absolute peak performance in 2022 (Millennium Falcons youngest brother soon to be born is called "Plaid+". For those that do not need the absolute quickest 1000 km travel time and those who do not need 300 km/h top speed, a working dog being given some love has lots of love to give back for many years. I am curious to see the Millennium Falcons 1000 km test after potential DC-charger kinks and all is sorted out. Like a retired dog, I know it will not be the fastest any longer. But as with an old dog-sledging Huskey taken out of competition, I am sure it will do the "1000" at a pace deserving of a nod.

One thing I noticed is how perfectly the chrome strips on the top of the door are aligned, compared to my car. Mine was more or less perfect until the left rear door handle was replaced, which required removal of he chrome trim at top of door (bottom of window). The mobile technician did a decent job of reinstalling it, but it is off just enough that now I notice it. Seeing this car makes me want to fix it. Not to mention that now I want to have my 5 year old paint cleaned up!

Tesla's Model S designer Franz von Holzhausen doesn't get enough accolades for this car's shape. It's gorgeous, especially when restored (even the big black oval grill). The Model S and Tesla would not have been such a huge success if the car looked ugly. This design is a classic.
