But it can also be comforting; megacorporations aren't prejudiced, they'll bring attention to a good cause because you'll give them money for it. i think you missed the part where the companies are USING these issues that they don't care about to try to stay relevant and to sell a completely unrelated product, thats pretty disgusting to use an issue and to take a side just because they think that that will be a popular side and make them some money. it wasn't about the issues themselves. there are plenty of real life ads which are just confusing, weird, and taking advantage in this way. ..i think snl did a good job on the skit
