I'm only now discovering this band, but I've always loved The Strokes, I felt like their sound, the right amount of rhythm and melody, and a voice that is on the edge of some punk kid and Frank Sinatra. His voice has the same spirit to it, though I'd put my money on the Strokes in a battle of the bands. They have some strange magic with their songcraft that is tough to match. These guys are based in Seattle right now though, so I'm definitely going to look out for a show.
