Great advice. Idk about sweating before throwing the ball, but I always made sure I was active prior to throwing the ball and I never really dealt with any pain or injuries until I was pitching too hard and too often.

Damn, I’ve always stretched out my arm before throwing at all, but never have gone that in depth. Ever since I started warming up/stretching my arm, I’ve never felt any pain, but good to know

Hey Matt, good points; I stopped having ANY arm pain a while back after I started doing 3 of the things you mentioned in addition to resolving to throw from my natural arm slot instead of trying to come straight over the top. Can you show what foam rolling you do to get the arm ready for throwing?
