In my opinion, "Currently" should mean right now with the players' ability, if they were all healthy, where would they rank. Since it is very early in the season, you can go off this and last season with more weight put on recent form.

You can’t have a current list and include injured players so Theo’s list was done from the get go. Top 10 should combine and take into account how established they are as players in performing at the highest level and their current form, so KDB would be in the top 10 because of performing so well for so long but would be lower on the list because he was injured most of last year and hasn’t been as good lately.

I know they joke about it but it’s genuinely baffling how Theo is still unable to differentiate who’s in form and who’s a player of high ability after more than 2 years of doing these lists. Every time for these top 5/10 lists his selected players are completely made up of those with high G/A in the season so far and as many Arsenal players as he can squeeze in. Big fan of the podcast and listen every week but I am making my first ever KZbin comment to ask if you could please just continue to use “current ability” from now on to at least try and make Theo understand the incredibly basic concept.
