I bought this as my first propane grill. It's been a fun, learning experience kzbin.infoUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I think it's a bit too pricey after looking at other grills, but it wasn't hard to put together and it works really well. I love the side burner option for heating food during a power outage. I have an electric stove and live in the South (Hurricane season), so this was a bonus. I also bought a cover for it and it has protected it nicely (the Char Broil All-Season Grill Cover 3-4 Burner: Large). Every few grill sessions, I take the rack (or grate) and burner covers off and clean them with a non-abrasive scrubby and mild soap. I wipe the excess off of the bottom as well, taking care to avoid the gas and pilot lines.

really high priced equipment is useless to all but a few. those folks can buy whatever or already have it. can u include items an avg. family or single person can afford. btw their site doesn't share the price u have to contact them. smdh i never deal with companies that expect you to jump through hoops to tell u a price. if i could afford it i would also pass them up because that is not good business. imho

Do like I did, do your own, not hard to make at all and you will save a ton of money but after a month I scrap it and fit it on the fire pit, since I did that I will never spend money again, I don't have a tray for the hashes but that is why they make shovel, I use one from my old heating stove, all very easy to make and the best part, when I go camping, I always bring it with me, set up in less than 5 mins and ready to cook in 15, pretty sure you will save alot and with the money you save you can buy meat or anything else you like to eat, it cost me arround 200$ ( and what cost more is the grill itself, but again you can make one as your need ) for everything so worth the try, good luck !!! I think it will cost you almost the same for the shipping as the grill since it's so heavy with the bricks, but I never use them anyways :)

Argentinians have been using this method of making their "Parrilladas" for ever, with the difference of using vegetable coal instead of raw wood. They built a fire on the side to keep feeding the cooking process. Also, a real "Asado" is seasoned with rock salt only. No "chimichurri" neither. Anything else would it be consider sacrilege!

Very cool grill/////$2 grand is a joke. If you want to cook Santa Maria go to Santa Maria Grills.com. I bought a nice big one with a grill top that one can raise and lower for under $300....Bet you the meat tastes just as good. These are made in Santa Maria, not Europe. I get Red Oak from a local tree trimming company and cook tri tips, corn, asparagus skirt steak, spilt chickens and and flank steak. Dont get me wrong the Caveman is a very cool grill if you can afford it.

Fat dripping is about 50:50 in the pit and taken out by grill shape. Fat taken out has to be cleaned which is extra work. What is wrong fat dripping in the pit fire and burning? Grill shape is far harder to clean than round shape as there are channels to be cleaned with burned fat and meat or whatever scraps after barbequeing finished. Is it worth EUR 3000 or US$ 3420?

I love meat like a religion The only thing that you need to know what follows with age related gout. I am 59 and if I overindulge with protein then I will have a gout attack. I have realised that you have to have plenty of water every single day. Summer and winter You must also reduce the intake Other than that you can still grill yourself to Shangri-la Nice chanel

Wrong design...They took a little bit from different designs. The fire pit is wrong/Useless/ridiculous...absolutely bizarre (air intake is only in the center right?) so you will have ambers in the center and smoky wood all around and/or bad heat distribution on the grill (uneven energy) Y rather prefer to burn wood/charcoal on the floor with a grid on top of bricks (That will work absolutely better) I like your energy but I dislike this product. And Sorry!! The answer at your question is ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! This is a burning machine, closer to a crematory than a decent grill. Fred.

These santa maria's all have a problem, you can't get the grill right next to the coals. This is important because you might not have a lot of wood, or do not want to spend too much wood cooking, this would make it faster to cook too or fine tune your cooking to the max. And this would make it easier, it your fire is running really low and you don't want to ignite it again and from this having to wait longer hours. Also, the closer the meat is to the fire the more smoke it will take.

Great video, does the top comes off the box? What I mean is the whole frame where the actual grill is hanging.. does that comes out? Or how is it fixed to the box so i doesn't tilt? thanks
