“Russell Wilson has pole position of the number one spot, according to head coach Mike Tomlin going into OTAs. But Justin Fields, expect him to get a lot of reps. The Steelers, I’m told they love to get their backup quarterbacks reps, sometimes the first team, second team, scout teams. They’re gonna move Fields all over to get him a lot of throws early on.”

Justin Fields will be QB1, he’s been in 3 Coaches system’s the last 3 years. Getsy’s system just was not a great fit for Justin. People forget the bears only got rid of Justin because they had #1 pick and could reset QB clock. He could be a Russel Wilson on steroids if Arthur’s scheme works to Fields strengths.

The system also works to russ' strengths. You're telling me he's going to fix all of his shortcomings over the course of the summer in order to pass someone who has a way better skill set overall? You could also say Russ has had 3 different offenses in 3 years. The reasoning for why you think Justin Fields is going to be better is also the same logical reasoning that can be applied by Russell Wilson is going to be better this year. I don't understand how you can apply the same reason to one player but then not turn around and apply it to the second player in the same exact quarterback room
