Pixar has always made movies that are not just for kids but actually makes more sense for adults than kids. The way they make movies, each phase of life you watch them you get a new understanding. I watched Toy Story when I was 7, then it was just bunch of toys talking, at 10 it was toys trying to find they owner Andy, at 15 it was learning what friendship was, at 25 it was about Woody being insecure. Man thats one movie with such a variant message. It definitely holds true for most of their movies.

I love how it was a total love letter to Italy in the same way Ratatouille was to France, Coco to Mexico etc. And the story was so Miyazaki-esque, simple childhood story, but I never felt like it needed to be anything else.

Awesome list! I think you’re absolutely right about the bottom two. Brave is my least favorite Pixar movie, but The Good Dinosaur is a close second. Hard disagree with Luca, it was so refreshing and something Pixar hasn’t really done. There’s too many “twist villains” or villains with sad backstories, noble goals, etc and too many films try to have some sort of deep meaning. So I love that Luca didn’t try to be overly dramatic, just two best friends enjoying summer while also subtly addressing issues such as abandonment, born with disabilities, divorces, etc.. Easily one of Pixar’s best if not their best movie

As a gay man, I must say that "Luca", for me, was wonderful. When my coming of age was marred by the realization of my being gay and that I'd have to hide my true self, I was much like Luca and Alberto. While the boys aren't gay, they do represent exactly what the LGBTQ+ Community go through to a person. On the surface it may seem simplistic. But I found the story deep and contemplative. I did experience varied deep emotions while watching it. I will watch "Luca" over and over again. It was very sweet.

For me, Inside Out is the best of the best Pixar movie. It makes me cry every time because right before this movie came out I was 15 and moved from California to Utah and absolutely hated it. I was so depressed and tried running away from home so many times. But at the end when she goes home to her family is what gets me. Family is the most important thing ever. Sorry I didn’t mean to type all this. I’m just really sad today. Thank you Sean for being great!

I agree. I grew up with the Cars films and you’re right that so many people hate on the first one and I don’t get it. The first Cars film is my third favorite Pixar movie only behind Toy Story 3 which is second, and Monsters, Inc. which is my favorite Pixar movie of all time.

That is a great top 10. Two of your top three are my two favorite Pixar movies with Monsters, Inc. being my favorite and Toy Story 3 being my second favorite. I don’t mean to be disrespectful to your opinion, but I personally thought that Toy Story 4 was the weakest of the four Toy Story films but that is just my opinion.

My top 5 Pixar movies are as follows #5 Toy Story 2 (Pixar's best sequel and they have yet to outdo it) #4 Monsters Inc (Funniest Pixar movie by a landslide creative also Mike Wazowski #3 Ratatouille (An animal film that isn't terrible also every scene in the kitchen gets me hungry) #2 The Incredibles (One of the best superhero movies ever) #1 Wall-E (It is the best that is all)

I feel like Cars 2 was an attempt to cash in on the success of the Cars shorts with Mater telling how he has done these ridiculous things. Therefore they tried to boost up the stakes, in a theatrical release, but just ended up dragging what works as a silly 10-minute cartoon into 90 minutes
