Kuzco is like Woody from Toy Story 1. He starts off as a jerk but learns his lesson at the end. If someone grew up that spoiled they would probably turn out like him. In my opinion The Emporer's New Groove is the best animated movie of all time. Anyways your channel is amazing and very entertaining keep up the spectacular work.

Chicken Little (as much as I personally love it), and Home on the Range are really the only weak films. Brother Bear, Antlantis, Lilo and Stitch, Emperor's New Groove, Meet the Robinsons, Treasure Planet, etc... They're all great. Disney was just trying to hold onto a unique animation style at the time Pixar, DreamWorks, Blue Sky and Warner Bros animation had all diverted to 3D.

So I just saw the part about the Emperor's New Groove, and while I completely respect your opinion, I wanted to explain why I disagree: About Kuzco, I agree that he's a big jerk in the beginning, but that's the point. He goes through a very dynamic development on the story and it feels genuine. It's not his fault that he was raised as a spoiled brat, and after being taught to be kind by Pacha, he becomes a much better person. It's also not true that Izma is a hero. She shows that she's evil in many more ways than just trying to kill Kuzco and taking over the empire. Even before Kuzco is overthrown, she's seen ruling in his place while he's not there, and when some peasants are talking to her in that situation, she says explicitly that she doesn't care that they don't have food. She also treats Kronk in a very rude manner, and she was the one who raised Kuzco to be the spoiled jerk he was in the beginning. I also don't really think the animation is all that bad. Maybe it's just me, but I think it looks fine. Again, I completely respect your opinion, I just completely disagree.

It’s interesting how when you grew up can really shape your taste. Emperor’s New Groove, Meet the Robinsons, and Lilo and Stitch are vastly superior to the last ten years for me with the exception of Tangled which is fantastic.

My top 3 Disney films, in general (not just from 2000) are Lilo and Stitch, Emperor's New Groove and Meet the Robinsons. I absolutely LOVE their 2009-current film slate, don't get me wrong, but for me, nothing will give me the pure magic, enjoyment and beauty of L&S, ENG and MtR.

My ranking: 16. Brother Bear (As someone who was a kid when I saw it, it was too heavy and just wasn't much fun.) 15. Zootopia (I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I don't think that kid's films about animals should deal with such heavy issues.) 14. Ralph Breaks the Internet (The princesses cameos were well done, but the plot of Ralph, a grown-man, obsessing over little Vanellope and not being able to let her go made the film unintentionally creepy for me.) 13. Winnie the Pooh (A wholesome, innocent, but even for a short running time, it doesn't have enough of a plot.) 12. Chicken Little (I thought the film was just okay. I don't have the same hate for the film that a lot of people do, but I wouldn't call myself a fan either. The highlight was Adam West's cameo.) 11. Wreck It Ralph (A decent plot with a really fun vocal performance from Alan Tudyk as "King Candy".) 10. Tangled (Not the best story, but dazzling, beautiful animation and style.) 9. Moana (Pleasant animation and songs.) 8. The Emperor's New Groove (An okay plot, mostly notable for having Eartha "Catwoman" Kitt as the villain.) 7. Treasure Planet (I saw it a long time ago, so I don't remember it to well, but I remember it being a decent, nicely-made film.) 6. Lilo and Stitch (A cute, pleasant, nicely silly film.) 5. Meet the Robinsons (A pretty good plot with a memorable, mustache-twirling villain.) 4. Big Hero 6 (A good cast of characters, really good animation and a very solid story.) 3. Raya and the Last Dragon (A mix of a serious action story for Raya and an optimistic tale with the delightful Sisu that equals one of Disney's most exciting and fun films.) 2. Frozen (Featuring fantastic songs, beautiful animation and so many memorable and enjoyable characters, Frozen is one of the most rewatchable animated films of all time.) 1. Frozen 2 (Frozen 2 expands on Elsa's character development and the backstory of her family which helps take the Frozen franchise and Disney in general to new heights.)

Let me try and change your mind on Kuzco. The thing about his character is that he's the protagonist, but not the hero. He is a villain at the start, and only through his experiences with Pacha and alone in the wild is when he becomes humble and realizes what is truly important in life. I think his character arc flows very smoothly, and it is why it is my favorite Disney movie. Well, also because it is hilarious.

11 is way too low for Lilo and Stitch. It’s a cinematic masterpiece. It’s probably 3rd on my list. Nice to see someone not overrate Emperor’s New Groove though. It’s a great movie but it’s far from the best Disney movie and the art style is just bland for Disney. It seems people only love it because of nostalgia
