Orrrr Darla DOES become famous in a later stage of her life, and the magazine did a ´what were famous people like 10 years ago´ kind of article that included her, hence the old picture. Sure, she may not sing that well, but people can become much better with age, and she could have become famous otherwise, for example as an actress.

Maybe the magazine Darla is a childhood photo that the magazine used to show how the popular rock star Darla over came her "traumatic childhood". It would make the caption of the photo "girl power" make more sense. And Darla's childhood love of singing and based off her shirt music would support her becoming a music star. This also allows the movie to be set in 1998. And I would guess that Darla's mom works in quarantine since most of the workers seem to be female. The reason her parents are divorced is that the mom was always busy working with the fish, because with that many fish and more coming in every day she probably has to be in quarantine a lot, (probably to the point that Darla would spend a lot of time in the kids zone further helping prompt her love of fish) and the dad (who is originally from Australia) divorced the mom, because she was a workaholic, got the majority custody of Darla (probably only visiting her mom for holidays) and moved home to Australia. That would support why her dentist is in Australia. And why a fish wouldn't be a bad gift. And it's clear that the dentist is a pretty acclaimed dentist as for the fact of he has won an award for his dentistry and has multiply plaques in his office (above the fish tank) so having patients that are famous wouldn't be odd.

I have a possibly less outlandish theory than Darla's parent being a rock star: She's a meme. I mean, modern day and age, pictures get uploaded to the internet, right? All it would have taken is the Shermans to upload the old photo of Darla and her dead fish at some point and for people to see it, and bam! The Pixar universe has its first confirmed internet meme! That could mean the article featuring Darla in the Tween magazine might be about internet memes or possibly a "where is she now," segment.

Rilay appears in Finding Dory, so that means that the finding dory and inside out are happening around same time. If Riley is releated to Andy from Toy Story, that would mean that they all happened around the same time, let's say by the technology Riley use, and in Finding Dory you can see all the technology, we have to say that the Toy Story 3 is somewhere around the same time as Dory, and Inside Out. In the Ratatouille you can find DUG from up, so that leads that Ratatouille actually happened somewhere before Carls adventure, let's say same time Toy Story 1 happened, late 80s, early 90s?

And if the dentist is the Boos father with all the drawings that will make the monster Inc in same timeline as Toy Story 3, which can't be, since the Boo has Jessie as her toy, that would mean that monster happened before Toy Story 2, or long after Toy Story 3

So let's deny the posability that Monster happened long after the Toy Story 3, as the toy wouldn't last long, so it has to be that the Monster are happening somewhere around when Carl was chilld, or young adult, if the Woody is Andys father toy, than that means Jessie can be popular toy around that same time, so in order for Boo to have Jessie she would have to be as old more or less as Andies Parents

Jessie story also shows the time somewhere little before Toy Story 2, which gives enough time for Boo to outgrow the Toy, and give it to Emily, or Emily could be Boos younger sister which inherit the toys from Boo, and after the Emily outgrew the toy, she left it behind, the age gap between Boo, and Emily can be around 1 - 10 years, or even more, I don't know what age gap is between Andy and his sister

I have recently come up with a theory about Ratatouille. When Chef Skinner's lawyer investigates the hair in Gusteau's toque, we learn that the hair was rodent hair, suggesting that Gusteau was maybe controlled by another rat the same way Remy controlled Linguini. I have reached the potential conclusion that Remy's dad controlled Gusteau. When Gusteau's had that bad review from Anton Ego, Gusteau died of heartbreak and Dad had to find somewhere else to live. And is it a coincidence that Dad's gang lived really close to Paris at the beginning of the movie? When he has Remy and Emile, he doesn't want them to have normal food to risk them going down the same route as he did so he forces them to eat garbage. Also, is it interesting how all the rats seem to like normal food when Remy steals some for them? And they do seem to know a lot about cooking when Remy gets them to run the restaurant when all the human cooks left. I also think Remy and Emile's mum died because of a fight with some...

I overall don't agree, there's not much evidence to prove that darla is a rock star daughter. First off her shirt? I wore so many soccer shirts as a kid, did that made me a soccer star? No it didn't. And another thing is that it doesn't have to be a big dental practice to get someone famous and finally most people who are in teen magazines are stars. Darla being a child of a star especially if she was younger wouldn't have got her on a teen theme magazine. Most teen magazine features teens even if they're related to a celeb. I went to go see finding dory for the 2nd time today and I found MULTIPLE Easter eggs!! 1. I'm the beginning of the movie dory, marlin, and nemo are all in the area where the glowing squid is found. If u look in the background you can see a shipwreck clearly in open water! ( Tarzan and The little mermaid) 2. The white truck that dory, nemo, Hank, marlin, and Becky are trapped in has a license plate that reads CALA113 3. Ok I know u already found the Pizza Planet truck in one scene underwater but today I found it on the freeway while Hank is driving the truck in the background 4. While marlin and nemo are trapped inside the tank which is in the truck, there is a zoomed out scene where u can see two fish clearly. One of the fish has a tag that reads 1985 5. In the scene where the crabs are hiding from the squid u can see that one of them are hiding under one of those things that shave food in the kitchen.... Anyways that is the same tool that Buzz in Toy Story 3 was holding

My theory of Darla was much more simple: The triplet brothers in "Brave". They all had a sweet tooth; they love pastries. That can be genetically carried on, as an imprint. The three brothers went on their merry little ways, going throughout the world. One of them loved sweets a LOT. What do sugary sweets do? They mess up your teeth. Mess them up to the point that you need braces. Darla needed braces at a very young age. Like the triplet brothers, Darla is a ginger. (the descendants of the other two brothers, as well as Merida herself, are for another story...unless you'd like me to finish it) I guess Jon's idea of one of Darla's parents being a rock star could make sense.
