The Pixel 3a is 95% of the Pixel 3 in the camera, which is nice considering Apple gave the XR the exact same quality in the main lens as the XS etc.

The Photos look Nice on the Pixel 3a but I wish it had 4K60 support like you said. I have the Note 9 and now that I have had the ability to record at that and zoom in 2x without losing quality, I don't know if I could go back!!!!

@@jakewipp3257 do a quick test. Cover the main lens and tap 2x zoom. In some lighting conditions the second lens isn't used.

Is it my imagination or Apple and Samsung phones are producing artificial-looking pictures nowadays. Sometimes, they bring a bit too much detail and brightness out of the shadows. Sometimes, pictures look too flat. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just gotta say that leaving out the Pixel's Night Sight camera feature was the wrong choice. The camera is one of the phone's main draws and Night Sight is one of the camera's standout features. It really is impressive for a smartphone camera in general, let alone on a relatively "affordable" device ($400 ain't pocket change). Low light photography is not the iPhone XR's strong point, especially when compared with the likes of Pixel devices. If you're being fair, you have to include that in your review. Just a thought friend. Overall exceptional review though. :)

Pixel should of won, 2/3 of this comparison was based on video which pixel wins in avoiding blurs with quick moments but other than that XR wins cuz it can go to 60 FPS. But pixel beats XR on pretty much all photo comparisons. Quite biased ngl

(S7 comes with 2K screen and wider angle while the Google Pixel comes with better HDR and better low light quality=more details. ). my main reason for buying this phone is for Time lapse videos in 4k, drawings in my room while a tripod over my desk with phone filming time lapse. my hand and drawing is in the frame. go pixel 2 , if brave , find the 2 xl one but a lot of user complain about the screen .. easy get shadow bcs made by lg ( the xl version ) . and pixel 2 screen made by samsung . Why i dont recommend s7edge bcs i have try the device , my friend has it . 2k screen is joke , u never used it since the battery drain so fast on 2k mode . picture quality ofc the pixel win ( day and night ) . On video quality pixel beat s7 tho , but mic on pixel not as good as s7. Only dealbreaker for pixel 2 is the design look ugly . If u no problem with that , pixel 2 is best deal .

The white balance is far too warm on the XR. Things may pop, but it is just wrong.

good video, although i would have focused more on photos. yes, the Iphone takes far better videos than the pixel, but I personally think that the pixel beats out the Iphone in photo mode. You didn't even really touch on the photos, you just showed a few side by sides for like .05 seconds each and didn't actually compare them XD.
