Im keeping my P5 ill skip on the 6 & 6 pro they seem too much like Samsung-Pixels to me. Also the perfect symmetrical bezels on the 5 and phone size is what made me fall in love.

It's actually a metal phone with a plastic coating. There's a hole cut in the metal to allow for the wireless charging.

Battery health is at 95% on my Pixel 5 that was purchased at launch. I usually keep my charge between 80-30%.

Re your charging cables, I'd suggest cleaning out the usb c port with the end of paperclip or something. I had the same experience with my pixel 3xl, and cleaning out the port sorted it right out. Surprising how much dust gets compacted in there over time.

@Cepaes I got the 5a. Had the 5 last year, bigger screen and headphone jack are a must for me. Though wireless charging and reverse wireless charging would have been nice and the extra 2GB of ram, but eh it's not a huge deal for me.

Honestly not amazing. They don't get super loud and its not really "stereo" like advertised. Way more sound comes out the bottom firing speaker

Hi mate, great review. I have the 4a and it's so fragile, I have paid the price of the phone for two screen repairs (one dropped, one water damage) and although I love it I think the 5 would be better for the better gorilla glass and water protection. The Pixel 5 is waterproof and if you use a screen protector and even a thin case, you don't have to worry at all about damage, or too much added bulk

This phone is amazing, I seriously think it's one of the most underrated phones... The size is perfect (most phones today are too big), the design is beautiful (it's still the only Android phone that has all symmetric bezels which makes it one of the most beautiful screens) and the battery life is amazing due to the slightly less powerful chip and the 1080p max screen. The phone is incredibly fast and smooth and the screen looks great so you don't need all that and because of this you get great battery life!

@@coppervsglass sorry I didn't respond I'm time. It's weird to explain. It's very short. It last at least around 3 hours. And if your using LTE then it's really gonna drain fast. But the good side is that it charged fast.

I had the pixel 3 and loved it but ended up switching to the 3a after I saw how much better battery my wife's got and that photos and performance were really basically the same. Still using the 3a until the 6a comes out.

And I use my phone very heavily, lte always on etc…So losing 17% over aprroximately the same time is real bad no denying that. Hoping doesn’t happen to my new pixel.

He doesn't use wireless charging complains about the charging port being worn. Complains about battery use but takes alot of pictures and plays games....How about using the features the phone has and put a case on your phone. To be fair the back of the Pixel 5 was one of the most durable materials. I dropped it a ton and because of the lack of back glass there was no cracks just a very small mark. Super strong back in the day.
