I just got a Pixel 6 a few days ago and so far it's been great - no issues with hardware or software. The screen is huge, which is exactly what I wanted. I held both the 6 and 6 Pro in my hand there was very little difference with regards to size. The 6 actually felt better because on the 6 Pro, you can feel the point where the screen and the back glass meet. This doesn't happen with the 6 since the screen is flat. Even if I bought the Pro, I would still run it at 60hz and HD to save on battery, so the choice was easy for me. I love the clean OS without any bloatware (looking at you, Samsung!). And monthly security updates for 5 years just like iPhone!!! Goodbye Samsung and OnePlus!

🤖 Yeah, I started out with the Pixel 6 Pro at launch but ended up switching over to the standard 6 about a month later. It's those small things like the flat screen and the matte rails and the slightly smaller form factor that made the difference for me. Besides, I never used the telephoto on the 6 Pro and the standard 6 comes in way more exciting colors. Overall a win for me. I mean, I don't need 12GB of RAM on my smartphone. That's overkill for my use. Great video as always. Appreciate your perspective in the tech space!

Mous hybrid glass screen protectors are 100% worth grabbing for P6 and P6 pro, they're slightly thinner, more impact protective and worth straight away with the fingerprint sensor without increasing sensitivity. You also get 2 in a pack. Give it a try!

It's a unique phone. I like it but only when I'm at home where WiFi connectivity is good for me. When I'm out and about the battery drain shoots up, the connectivity is dodgy and the phone heats up (no gaming). I also find the GPS acts up at times in open places which haven't given my previous phones any problems. Bluetooth is consistent only when you disable the higher quality codecs (i.e. LDAC and AptXHD). After finding myself carrying around my old phone when going out of town I've decided to switch to a Samsung; having tried my friends' phones. So buyer beware

@waldamy2 жыл бұрын
The problem may be related to 5g, if you have it enabled. Pixel has a pretty bad antenna, as far as most people report, also the 5g modem inside the phone consumes a lot of power. You may try disabling it, if it's enabled, and see how it goes.
@geoffscott82382 жыл бұрын
@@DamienWilde thanks for the reply, it's no criticism towards yourself though. It just seems like it's not a well publicised issue. Maybe because duel Sim is not widely used? Anyway it's just a shame that it functioned so well on the pixel 5!

looking to upgrade and i've found offers for the pixel 6 pro for maybe only £3 a month more than the pixel 6, is this a case of it not being worth the extra money or genuinely you'd choose the regular version even if they cost the same?
@DamienWilde2 жыл бұрын
In your case the price difference is £72 over two years on contract, correct? In that case it's more viable to go for the Pro if you desperately want a telephoto zoom lens and higher resolution screen. I do personally prefer the regular 6 over the Pro but I do own both.

🤖 Had the Pixel 6 since launch as well, the majority of the bugs are fixed, the fingerprint sensor is still a little unreliable tho. Nope. I got one in the post yesterday. I was so excited after seeing so many positive reviews online recently... But... After spending a few hours with it, it's going straight back to Santa. Reason: The white colour balance for the phone's display is just shockingly awful. It's a dirty, yellow/green hue, across all apps, media, and menus/OS. All of my recent photos of lovely brilliant winter scenes look gross on the Pixel 6. So, unless the North Pole really is covered with yellow snow, I hope Santa's elves will honour their return policy.
